 Your senses wake you up from your restful nap and after a few blinks you quickly realize you've fallen asleep. You worry about how long you napped for but all of those thoughts disappear when you see Lin sleeping peacefully in your embrace. His relaxed face is a rare sight, especially since you rarely get moments to wind down together.

 Now that you mentioned it, you move your head a bit and see that the two of you changed positions while you were both napping. Before you were both sitting on the ground with your backs against the wall, now you're both lying on the ground in each other's arms with your faces beside each other. In fact, your faces are so close that you can feel Lin's breath.

 You get a sudden urge to move closer to him to feel his warmth even more, but a part of you worries that doing so might wake him up. In the end, you decide to just stay right where you are, not wanting to disturb Lin until he wakes up... which didn't take long as he woke up shortly after you. Oh well, at least you both had a moment to rest together.

 The two of you stand up, still feeling a bit sleepy, before eventually heading to the next room. You worry again as you remember Puro who is probably waiting for the two of you as you both slept for who knows how long. After telling Lin about it, you both agree to hurry up a bit.

 The next room is dark but you can somewhat make out what's inside it, notably the giant power generator in the center of the room along with a few strips of paper laid throughout and a few gears and wires on the ground.

 Lin goes to inspect the massive power generator while you read the torn pieces of what appears to be someone's work report. They all appear to be in some sort of order but with no info to tell when they were made, you just read them as you go.

 "I thought I was done for. In order to not let them take away what I had achieved, I was nearly turned into a sieve, but before my last breath I injected myself with medicine [K].

 I then fell into a coma for three whole days. When I woke up, those bullets, originally shot into my body, lay scattered around me. I was... reborn."

 "It's the tenth day. I still remember that day, the institute gathered all of the staff to distribute supplies as always on the first day of each month and held a ridiculous celebration. Only I did not go, which surprises me as I thought there would be a few others too but I digress.

 My research finally had a ground-breaking development that day. Now it's time to officially begin human experiments... on my own body."

 Right after you finish reading the second work report, Lin tells you that you're supposed to find some sort of password in order to activate the generator with a potential hint being an eye-catching sentence on the lengthy paper report still attached to the generator being the "day I was reborn".

 You give him the reports you've read, hoping he'll find the password in them as you go read the remaining ones on the other side of the room.

 "Although the atmosphere of the New Year has not yet dissipated, the researchers in the institute have no time to celebrate now. The gunshots from the surroundings of the building every day have already replaced the fireworks.

 Everyone is on edge at all times. The patience of those sick rioters is just about to be exhausted, I fear they'll attack the institute in the near future."

 "This may be my last report. I didn't think it would be so soon. The second day after I made plans to conduct human test trials, a riot broke out. A double agent opened the blast-proof gate, and those thugs broke in, plundering the medical supplies here.

 Don't they know they're destroying the hope of mankind!? And not only that, but they ruined the research on the vaccine as well, the only treatment those idiots would take. As of now, almost every work done for the cure has been demolished. The vaccine I can't say much about but I assume it's in a similar if not worse state."
