As you walked down the hallway,you tried to stay invisible,or at least out of sight. Keyword:tried.

"Well,well,well,lookie here. It's the loser." You kept your head down,hoping that he would ignore you. But,hopes for suckers.

"DON'T F*CKING IGNORE ME!" (Random bully name. I'm tired of making your favorite characters the bully) screamed as he grabbed your hair,pulling you back.

You kept quiet,not giving him the pleasure of hearing you beg for mercy. "So,that's how it's gonna be,huh?" He said,making you look at him...before he punched you in the gut.

As you hissed in pain,you saw him raise a fist,and closed your eyes...and felt nothing.

You opened your eyes and saw someone you hadn't seen before holding (bully's name)'s arm. "Who the hell are you?" He asked,surprised that someone actually had the guts to stop him.

Before he could answer,the bell rang...signaling the end of school(you left the classroom early to go to the restroom,and the bully saw you).

As (bully's name) let go of your hair,he scoffed and said, "Wait til tomorrow,bitch." And with that,he left.

There was an awkward silence between you,and the guy who saved you.

"W-Well,I'd better get going." You said quietly before turning to leave the school.

"Wait." You felt a hand wrap around your wrist,and thanks to the jerk before,you flinched,expecting him to hurt you.

"S-Sorry. Don't worry though,I'm not gonna hurt you. My name's Antonio,but everyone calls me Toni." He said as he released your wrist,and rubbed the back of his head with the same hand.

"I-I'm (Y-Y/N). Nice to meet you."

Once again,you were walking down the hallway,but this time,it was crowded with students waiting for the bell to ring,signaling the start of torture-I mean school.

As you were walking toward your classroom,you felt someone grab your arm. You flinched and closed your eyes,waiting for the pain that never came.

You opened your eyes,and saw dark green eyes looking at you in concern.

"Guessing you thought that I was the tonto,huh?" He said with a smile.

You felt your face turn red,and you hung your head,feeling the tears you held back start to fall. Toni noticed the tears,and he wrapped his arms around you,saying, "Its ok,(Y/N). As long as I'm here,I won't let him hurt you. I promise."

You and Toni started dating that day,and he always kept his promise.

Until one day,nine weeks later.

"Hey,loser. Where's your hero?" Oh no. After Toni became your boyfriend,he never left your side in public...until today.

"H-He's on his way." You whispered,hoping that what you said was true.

"Well,he's not here now." (bully's name) said,before he grabbed your arm,and twisted it.

You screamed in pain,and felt tears fogging your vision. After twisting your arm,he pushed you down,and started kicking you.

After about half an hour of hell,he finally got bored with kicking you,and left laughing his butt off.

I never should've trusted Toni. He abandoned me when I needed him the most.

When I finally got to the school,I saw a girl with (H/L) (H/C) on the floor...a small pool of blood around her.

"(Y/N)!!!!" I dropped the small box in my hand,and ran to her.

Reader's POV

When you heard someone call your name,you lifted your head as high as you could and saw Antonio running towards you.

"T-Toni...is that you?" You managed to whisper,before he held you in his arms.

"I'm so sorry,(Y/N). I shouldn't have waited til last minute to do this."

"Do what?"

He looked around frantically looking for something and when he finally found it,he reached for it,grabbed it,and showed it to you.

A ring box.

"(Y/N),I love you with all my heart and soul. Normally,I'd be on one knee for this,but because I didn't get it last night like I wanted to,you got hurt. So,I guess now's a better time than on our date tonight."

He opened the box,and inside was the most beautiful ring you ever saw(I suck at ring descriptions!).

"(Y/N)(L/N),will you marry me? When we're out of high school,of course."

You couldn't help but giggle at his proposal,even though your sides hurt,and said,

"Yes."
