《I Just Want To Live》

Chapter 1

Note: Dialogue may differ from the English comics since there are some that I'm directly translating from non English versions of the comics.

"Why do you want me to go to Momos and not Poposi?"

"I have my reasons."

"Fine, I'll go. But in exchange for one thing."

"And what is that?"

"Don't drag me into any school politics. I want to live a normal school life."

"Everyone, I'd like to introduce you to Ailana Atlison. Starting from today, she will be attending this academy. So, I hope you all will get along with her." Said their history teacher, Mr. Mason. An uproar in the class was triggered as the boys were clearly surprised and against the arrival of Ailana, who will be joining their classes.

"What? He's kidding, right?"

"She's a girl! This is a boys' school."

"I bet she won't last a week here."

Amidst all the chattering, Ailana also piqued the interest of three particular individuals in the class.

"The new student is a girl. That's... interesting." Said Livio.

"Tch. Just what's going on here?First, that Alexis who came from who knows where is mingling with princes. And now a random girl is attending a prestigious boys school." Came Shintarou.

Gion, on the other hand, silently observed the new girl. Being one girl in an all boys school, he expected her to, at the very least, be shy and nervous. The rest of the boys weren't so quiet about their displeasure either. Yet all Ailana displayed was an air of indifference.

"Now then, since there's an empty seat beside Prince Gion, why don't you sit there Miss Atlison?" The teacher suggested.

"Very well, Sir." Was her only reply.

On her way over, she , of course, drew curious, cautions, and even hostile gazes from the boys in class. One guy even tried to trip her by putting his foot in her pathway.

Although she didn't trip and fall, she stumbled a little, which earned snickers from her new classmates.

Momentarily, she stopped and looked at the guy who tried to trip her.

"Do you need to go to the infirmary?" She inquired.

"What?"

"I think there's something with your leg. Why else would it be sticking out like that?" Her words sounded like they held concern, but her eyes told a different story. The sharp and cold gaze she aimed at him made the guy at a loss for words.

"She may be right. Do you need to see the nurse, Daniel?" Their teacher asked.

"N-no sir. I'm all good."

And with that, the girl continued on, all pranks coming her way were quickly pulled off after seeing what happened with the classic tripping.

Class continued on as usual. But Ailanas' presence made things temporarily awkward.

Though that awkwardness lasted only during history class. When English class rolled around, they seemingly forgot about her.

Even so, Livio, Gion, and Shintarou remained vigilant of Ailana since there was clearly something happening behind the scenes for a girl to attend an all boys school.
