2 weeks have passed since I landed the job at The Fox's Dinner, last week the reservation I had with the hotel had ended since then I had been living out of my truck thankfully, I decided to take it and not fly here. I almost had enough money saved up for an apartment. Or at least a deposit for one.

After work tonight I decided that I would go to Little Italy to a bar that I've heard a lot of good things about. Tomorrow is the first day off that I will have since starting at the dinner, so if I drink too much and end up with a hang over it won't be as bad.

***After hours***

"Alright Claudia, I'm heading out. The drawers are counted, and tables are set." I holler back towards the kitchen

"Okay dear thank you, I don't know what I would have done with out you. Now you enjoy your day off tomorrow and thank you for the patients you've had with me." She says as she was walking around the corner and leaning over the bar.

"I will, I'll see you Monday!" I say as walking out the door and giving her a small wave.

I then get into the truck and make my way towards The Vino Rosso. It's an Italian bar, I've never been to one and I hope it's nice.

Once I get to the bar it takes me about 5 minutes to find a parking spot. It's a large bar, biggest one I have ever seen. I have some spare cash and wanted to treat myself for the hard work I've been putting in.

I walk in and find an empty bar stool and sat down.

"Whatcha gonna have miss?" The bartender asked while leaning on the bar

"Just a glass of red wine, please."

"You got it." As he grabs a glass and begins to pour, "So where you from miss? I ain't never heard an accent like yours before." He sets the glass on a napkin in front of me

"I'm from Tallulah Falls, Georgia sir." I reply grasping the glass delicately with my right hand, and pushing hair behind my ear with my left.

"It's a nice accent you should talk more." He said. Just as I was going to respond another patron required his attention, and with that he walked away.

I sipped the wine and took in the atmosphere of the bar. It was a classic dark-wood pub with a hearty fare. An old-school venue with wooden tables, offering pub food and karaoke nights on weekends according the sign posted on the wall.

A well dressed man came in and sat down beside me.

"Hey, Benny." He hollered at the bartender "I'll take the usual."

"You got us, boss."

Huh? Did I hear that right? 'Boss'? Did he own the place? Just then Benny walked over and put a whisky neat and a black coffee in front of the man.

"Aye boss, you ever heard a Georgia accent before?"

The man looked up at the bartender with confusion all over his face, I'm sure I had a look of 'oh shit' all over my face as well.

Benny pointed to me "She's from down south."

The man turned toward me and we had made eye contact. It had felt like we were looking into each others eyes for an eternity, his mystical green eyes were instantly captivating me. He gave me a smile. I blushed and looked away, and continued to sip the wine.

" I'm Christian Lovius, but my friends call me Kage." He takes my right hand in his left and kissed the top of my hand before letting it go gently.

"I'm Natasha Miller, my friends call me Tasha." I said trying to avoid his gaze.

As I said that his smile grew. "I like that name." He stated in a very 'mater of fact' tone.

"Oh, you do, Mr. Lovius?" I say taking the last sip of wine in my glass.

"What are you having your next drink is on me." He said cheekily.

"Just red wine." I look back at the bartender.

"You can have anything you want and you just want red wine?" He asked.

"Yeah I'm okay with just some wine. I have to drive home later."

We talked for hours until the bar closed. I asked if he owned the bar and he said no just Benny likes calling him boss for some reason. I wasn't buying it but I didn't want to press any further.

I had a total of 4 glasses of wine. Mr. Christian Lovius and I exchanged numbers and we parted ways.

**A/N: I know it's a bit shorter of a chapter I'm sorry but I hope you're enjoying the book so far. Thank you for all the support.**
