Social worker : hello, mrs Leigh is everything ok
Charlie's mum : kind of, well yeah and no
Social worker : ok explain
Charlie's mum : Maisie wants to go into foster care, her and Charlie have had a big fall out and they are just arguing non-stop
Social worker : ok that's fine is Maisie ok
Charlie's mum : yeah she ok think she just a bit upset but she desperately wants to go into foster care
Social worker : ok well I'll ring the emergency foster home and come pick her up, tell her to pack all her things up
Charlie's mum : ok goodbye
Social worker : goodbyeAfter I end the phone tears fill my eyes, I'm not really sure why I'm crying but I just am I go out the kitchen and into the living room where Carson is sat rubbing his hand up and down Maisie back, who has her head in her hands.
Charlie's mum : Maisie the social worker is going to pick you up and take you to the foster home you need to pack your things sweetheart
Maisie : ok thankyou
Charlie's mum : if you having second thoughts it ok you don't have to go

Maisie pov :
As I pull away from the hug my phone starts ringing, so I pick it up and answer it.

Millie : you voice doesn't sound ok tell me what going on
Maisie : I'm going into a foster home
Millie : what? Why ? I thought you liked staying at mrs Leigh's house
Maisie : me and Charlie have had a big fall out so not anymore and I won't be playing tomorrow either
Millie : why not ?
Maisie : because it's Charlie's team and she doesn't want me on the team anymore and I don't feel welcome
Millie : pack your bag your staying with me
Maisie : I'm not allowed
Millie : yes you are I'll ring the social worker now and tell her that you ain't going to no foster home understand

Millie : so go pack you pack darling love you loads see you soon
Maisie : love you toI go upstairs to get all my things into a bag, which there isn't really much but there are still some things that are sentimental to me. I knock on Charlie's bedroom door because I don't want to just walk in.
Charlie : who is it ?
Maisie : Maisie
Charlie : go away!
Maisie : I just need to get my stuff I'm going and you won't have to see me again
Charlie : fine
* opens her door *You walk in quickly not saying anything to start an argument again, you grab you back open it and start putting your things in it, as your packing you look down and realise that you have one of Charlie's jumpers on that she borrowed you a couple days ago so you take it off, fold it up and place it on the bed.
Charlie : how come you took the jumper off ?
Maisie : becuase it's yours
Charlie : you can keep it
Maisie : no thanks
Charlie : * scoffs * what I don't have a disease or something you've literally been wearing it the past 2 days
Maisie : I didn't say you had a disease I just don't want anything that's yours
Charlie : so are you actually going
Maisie : mhm yea
Charlie : where to
Maisie : Millie's
Charlie : * laughs * so she want you now
Maisie : hard to believe ain't it
Charlie : are you playing the match tomorrow
Maisie : no
Charlie : why ?
Maisie : because you said that you don't want me on your team so why would I play tomorrow
Charlie : I was just pissed off I didn't actually mean it
Maisie : your words mean and hurt more than you think
Charlie : whatever just a let down like always
Maisie : * doesn't say anything *By the end off the conversation you have finished packing you stuff, feeling even more hurt.
Maisie : just before I go can I ask you something
Charlie : what
Maisie : why do you choose Sofia over me
Charlie : because it's easy with her it's so difficult which you when it shouldn't be
Maisie : * tears rolling down my cheeks * ok goodbye Charlie
Charlie :yeah whatever byeAfter that I walk out of Charlie's room with one last look at her before closing the door to not only her but your friendship that yous have had for years And walk down the stair ready to be picked up by someone I'm not sure where I'm going but as long as it not staying here I'm sure I'll be fine.
