Zant: I’m surprised you haven’t pushed her off.

Ghirahim looked at Zant then down to Mizuki, she was clinging to him like he was her lifeline.

Ghirahim: I would try but it’s no use, she’s sticking to me like glue. Besides she is at least accounted for this way, we don’t want her running off in this state.

Zant: True…

Her friends were huddled together sleeping after all of the crying and stress of the day. She wanted to join her friends but she couldn’t bring herself to pull off of him, so she laid there with her head on his chest dozing off. Ghirahim petted her hair subconsciously, stopping to play with her curls on occasion. His head was resting right above her’s. She lurched up hitting her head on his chin.

Ghirahim: Ack, what was that?!

He quietly fussed at her, he looked up into her eyes, he saw panic, pain, desperation, anger, and so much more. Other than her rubbing her head she was unbothered by what had just happened, she was instead bothered by the lack of noise and life.

Mizuki: Something is off, this forest isn’t right.

She said in a panic, looking around for something.

Mizuki: M-my nightmare, it showed me something… S-something wrong with this place.

Ganondorf: Probably just the death and despair looming around you.

She put her head down, perhaps it was just paranoia from the bad day. She scooted away from Ghirahim, taking a spot across from him now instead.

Zant: I’m sure you will be happy to know the princess has come up with a plan.

Ganondorf: She thought that we should put our war to the side to prepare for one that could be worse.

Ghirahim: So you were spot on.

Ganondorf: I’m still untrusting of her, I know she has an ulterior motive, but I have decided it would be the better course of action.

Mizuki: So we are going to work with the princess now?

Ghirahim: That seems to be the case.

Ganondorf: We set out at dawn.

Mizuki: Yes sir.

She sat with her back to a rock, facing him and her friends to her side. She fiddled with her fingers.

Ghirahim: Feeling restless?

Mizuki: Boss said we are leaving at dawn, what about my friends?

Ghirahim: You still want to bury them?

Mizuki: Of course I do.

She stood up, looking in the direction she thought they came from. He sighed, grabbing her shoulders to turn her in the right direction.

Ghirahim: You were out of it for a while, you probably missed a few turns.

Mizuki: Take me there.

Ghirahim: What?!

Mizuki: Take me to them, please. I won’t cause any trouble, we can be quiet.

Ghirahim: Fine, but we are moving them so I don’t have to fight off monsters while you dig.

Mizuki: Thank you, you won’t even have to pick them up if you don’t want to.

Ghirahim: I’ll just teleport them with us.

He teleported them to a spot nearby and they snuck down. They looked in the direction of the mini crater she had created earlier with her magic.

Ghirahim: They should still be down there.

She nodded and walked over to her fallen friends with him. He teleported them back up the hill, and she found a flat spot to start their graves. Mizuki used her magic to dig the holes out while she looked for some stones she could use as a tombstone. He sat to the side, wanting nothing to do with this.

Ghirahim: When did you get so good at magic?

She responded while rolling a large stone to the holes.

Mizuki: I have been practicing by myself for about a month.

She pushed the stone into spot and picked up a smaller stone to scratch their names into the stone with. After she finished the names she went to grab some nearby flowers and placed them on the grave.

Ghirahim: The magic you used was quite impressive you know?

Mizuki: Thanks.

She wished she were better, maybe she could’ve saved them. She walks to him and hugs him.

Mizuki: Thank you...

He teleported them back to the camp, gathering his things and then helping her get hers. Within a few hours they arrived at the castle.

Princess Zelda: Welcome, we have prepared you all rooms in the barracks.

The general stood by the princess’s side, eyeing the group.

Impa: Princess, I don’t believe we can trust them.

Mizuki: What could we do to help prove we are serious about helping General?

Princess Zelda: General there is no need.

Mizuki: It’s alright princess, I understand her caution.

Impa: You, what are you doing with them?

Mizuki: I joined them, your soldiers disrespected me and left me to die. I was finally accepted and trained with, I’ve gotten much better in battle thanks to them.

Impa: My soldiers left you for dead on the field?

Mizuki: Yes.

Ganondorf: I have an idea, she says she learned more with us because we treated her better, so why doesn’t she prove that.

Impa: Prove that she has improved thanks to you?

Ghirahim: I agree, we were willing to help her so why doesn’t she show you why she stayed.

He encouraged the idea, just wanting to see what she would do in battle. She was hoping for this chance as well, their agreement was appreciated.

Zant: And if you let her fight the ones that left her for dead they could reveal their true nature, proving that she was mistreated.

Princess Zelda: If this is what you wish to do I will allow it.

Impa: Tell me their names, I will fetch them.

General Impa went to get the soldiers, returning with the two soldiers in full armor.

Impa: I have no choice but to accept you despite the outcome, but if you beat them I will put my suspensions to the side.

She hopped down from the top of the wall where she was standing with the others. The soldiers looked at her in shock.

Soldier1: We thought you died, how-

Mizuki: Shut it, we are here to settle your betrayal.

Soldier2: You mean yours.

Mizuki: Fight fire with fire, and backstabbers with backstabbing.

Soldier1: Well then you should put on your armor, we don’t want to wait all day.

Mizuki: Already set.

The soldiers scoffed and charged at her, she stepped to the side avoiding them.

Mizuki: General Impa didn’t say we could start, neither did Princess Zelda, I refuse to fight back until they give me permission.

Princess Zelda & Impa: You may begin.
