Chapter 1

*Sulphur's P.O.V*

"Land ahead!"

Scarlet hair whipped my face as the wind blew right through it. I looked out into the horizon, the beautiful land known as Dior approaching ever so closely. The captain of the ship, an aged and short man known as Laddie walked up to me with a smile.

"You see that, my boy? That land is Dior! The land of free beginnings and magic!"

The old man's happiness was contagious, I couldn't help but give him a toothy smile. "New beginnings is what I love to hear! I can't wait to start mine!" The older man couldn't help but smile at my excitement, rushing back to his crew to yell out orders for a safe docking. I watched as the crew docked the S.S Marie safety into Port Dior. Running down to the main deck, I gather all my things. Two packs full of my own clothes, an insanely large pouch full of jewels, gems, and rare ore of all kinds, and a satchel full of books and journals. Thanks to my insane dragon strength, I did have trouble carrying the items. After giving Laddie a small pouch of jewels for him and his crew, I bid everyone farewell and trudged off to my small home a few feet away. Even though I was the son of a god and goddess, I didn't need much space. The small house offered a kitchenette and living space, a nice size closet, a good sized bedroom with lots of dresser drawers, and a full bath. Putting my possessions onto the bed, I grabbed a map. Even though I wanted to relax in my new home, I had a mission to accomplish.

"I wouldn't ring that if I were you."

A feminine voice from behind caught my attention. A petite girl with blonde hair and a pair of stunning emerald eyes put her hands on her waist and gave me a smirk.

"I hope you know that if you pull that rope you'll set off loud cathedral bells that'll attract the whole town. Have you ever seen a cathedral before?"

I shook my head no. "I've lived on an island most of my life."

The girl chuckled. "So you're an islander? We're there any cathedrals there?"

I shook my head no again. "Just forest and a really large house."

She chuckled again, her green eyes twinkling with mirth. "Oh well that's ok. If you're looking for the guild Philosopher's Stone, it's not here. If you follow me, I'll bring you there." I nodded excitedly, walking down the many stairs to reach the girl. Once I approached her, she slipped her arm into mine, kind of like we were old friends. Together, we walked down the road, enjoying the breeze and the bustling of the town.

"Oh, before I forget. The name's Kitty Serafina." The girl gave me a grin, her eyes twinkling again. "You got a name stranger?"

"Sulphur Magnum-Swarovski." I stated proudly. The girl gasped and stopped our walk. "You have a Godline*?!" I couldn't help but nod, slowly and confused. Was I not supposed to tell her that? "That's.....so....cool! I'm totally jealous. But wait, you said Magnum-Swarovski? Your parents are the Yuki'onna AND the Fire Dragon Shifter? What a weird match."

I couldn't help but chuckle. Kitty began to walk again, a large blue building coming to view. "It is weird, but they work together just fine." The girl nodded and opened the large doors. I could see why the guild was named Philosopher's Stone, since the said stone was position on the top of the door frame.

"Master Joven?! We have a hopeful wanting to become a new member!"

A short man with a long white beard walked up to us, a smile on his face. "Well how do you do! Welcome to Philosopher's Stone, an elite guild for elite wizards and magicians. State your name and magic ability."

I smile at the man and bowed. "Sulphur Magnum-Swarovski, Fire Dragon Shifter."

The old man nodded. "Ah, you have a Godline. Well two. Soriese, get this boy a guild mark!"

A platinum blonde headed girl with grey eyes ran up to me with the guild stamp. "Where would you like it?"

I unbuttoned my dress shirt to expose my collarbone, the place I wanted the mark to be. Giggling, Soriese stamped me, a purple mark showing up.

"Welcome to Philosopher's Stone, Sulphur!"

My eyes brighten as the whole guild greeted me. I never felt so welcomed before.
