No matter what the Heroes tried they couldn't seem to harm Mia in any way. But she was definitely wearing them down. Her attacks were brutal, she would fly from person to person faster than you could blink hitting them hard and running off to the next victim. After a bit they gave up attacking and just were defending themselves. They could hear her laugh all around them.
All hope of escape seemed lost but then Jack had an idea. He quickly made his way over to where Cassie was standing. He prayed Mia wouldn't come his way as he ran and lucky after she beat down on Cassie, she flew off to John to give him some trouble. "Cassie!" He called out, "Yes?" She responded. "In the story you have the ability to teleport from place to place through your own portal system." "Mhhm, oh YA!" "Do you think you can get us all out?" "I can try." She said nervously, for she feared it all resting on her frail shoulders. Cassie flew over to him and grabbed him around the chest, he then felt a little sick from intense motion, then he was out in the snow. "I'll go back for the others!" She called out, then she was gone. Jack laid down on the ground, he was exhausted.
Mia became very confused, in her rage against the heroes she hadn't noticed some of their disappearances, until she was just flying around a dark room by herself. "Hmm, where did you all go?" She pondered as she stopped and scratched her head. She came down and landed on the floor. She put a hand on her hip, "I could have sworn there were ten other people in this room, oh well... I can wait."
"That was brutal." Said John. "Agreed." agreed Lucy. "We didn't stand a chance," Added James hanging his head low. "And it's only a matter of time before war breaks out because of the missing soldiers.'' added Susen. "We need a better plan," said Darren. "Agreed." Said Karlie.
"Alright men," Began James, "We have two problems here, A: Mia is too powerful for us and B: If we don't do something the Gargorns will be dealing with an all-out civil war! Any ideas on how we can deal with these problems." Lucy raised her hand. "Yes Lucy." "Well, you guys seem to be great at tech, probably better than Mia, right? So couldn't you guys get one of those tubes going that make the people?" She said, "And what difference would that make?" Asked Sarah. "Well, Mia needed her magic to give us powers, but I believe you guys can do it right so that whatever thing we make will have powers on its own. We could create our own superhuman entity!" "Then what, we would have to deal with that? Replace one problem with another greater problem?" Said Karlie.
"Plus, who would we bring back?" Asked Darren. Suddenly Karlie put her head down a little bit and smiled her weird smile. She slowly raised her hand. "Ugg, yes Karlie." Said James. "We could bring him back here! My boyfriend!" She said, jumping to her feet. "Your what? Oh..." said James, the whole group sighed together. "No, just no!" said John. "What, he was the most powerful one of us, and he was perfectly sane. He just didn't like the earth, and its people but I'm sure he will love this place." "Even if we did bring him back, he is useless without the stones." Said Cassie. "Not exactly, and aren't the stones technically alive? We could just create them as well."
"Ok fine, but how do we solve our problem with the inevitable war?" Asked James. "Well, Me and my sister could go back to the Gorgons, we were in a decent place in the military, and we should have some influence." Jack said. "How would we get you there, not even I can teleport that far?" Asked Cassie. "Well, we could hike a mile that way and then use the portal system." Said Susen. James let out a sigh, he didn't like the plan, but it seemed to be their only option. "Alright, let's do it!" He said at last. They all gave a nod, then set off to complete their tasks.
Mia held up her brand-new coat, it was her seventeenth one she had made since the heroes had left her. She was becoming frustrated. "I never left them to wait for me, no I always got straight to the point! How rude of them..." She had made a habit of talking to herself. She then turned, for someone who was knocking on her door. "Oooo, The pizza!" She was looking at her monitors. She had ordered Pizza at the nearest town's local pizzeria and given a fat tip to come all this way.
