The Next Morning
Ansh was half asleep when he entered Dev's room and collided with Dev.
"What on earth do you think you are doing?" Asked Dev. "Anyways, I am really tired due to the Hw yesterday, go freshen up, and don't disturb me."
"Bhai, when are your midterms?" Asked Ansh
"Why" Asked Dev
"Umm...just wanted to know." Said Ansh
"In 3 weeks." Said Dev
"You still have three weeks to go! That's great." Said Ansh Forgetting the fact that it was only him who knew what plan he had made.
Dev sat on the bed and saw Ansh smiling to himself. "What?" Asked Dev
"Bhai we need to go to school to submit the project right?" Asked Ansh
"Yeah, maybe today after breakfast, I think bhai will drop us." Said Dev
"NO!!!" Said Ansh
"What no Ansh?"
"Can't we just go all alone? I mean you are grown up enough to go right?"
"By now I can clearly say that you are up to something and I am not a part of this, if you want to do something go for it." Said Dev
"No.... no what do you mean up to something, it's not like that." Said Ansh
"OK then Bhai is going to drop us and I guess he's going to pick us back up because we won't be spending much time over there." Said Dev
Ansh moved back and walked towards the door when he suddenly realized that he should convey his plan to Dev.
"Can we just go roam around for a while after the submission in the school?" Asked Ansh
"Bhai won't let us" Said Dev
"We would not mention about that to him. We'll return soon, he won't even know. I'm stressed out of these studies and all and you have your exam after three long weeks." Said Ansh
Dev stood there analyzing the plan.
"Please." Said Ansh
"Hmm...okay" Said Dev
After breakfast
"You guys go get ready, we do not have much time. I need to go to the clinic and I will drop you at the school. Dev please be careful while you come back." Said Tej
"Yes bhai."
Tej drove to the school and left them at the Entry gate
"Be safe both of you" Said Tej
"I think we should not do that" Said Dev
"why not"
"Have you ever imagined what will happen if by any means bhai comes to know about this" Said Dev
"and by what means" Said Ansh
"Ok let's go in first and submit our work ,then we'll think about whether we go with this plan or not" Said Dev
"We won't be thinking about this again. We are doing it he won't let us go anywhere and we are not going anywhere either they will just be roaming around on the street for a while" Said Ansh
"I know what we are going to do but that's dangerous" Said Dev and went into his class
after 30 minutes
"Where should be start with?" asked Ansh
"I don't even know whether we should start or not" Said Dev
"Ohh please bhai don't start again we need to go and be home soon" Said ansh
"yeah ok" Said Dev
They went out of the gate and started to move on the street from where they decided to go to the nearby marketplace and roam around.
"Can we go into the mall" Said Ansh
"No, you said we are going to roam around the streets and here we are on the streets. We'll be walking around for a while and we'll be back home." Said Dev
"Oh please don't behave like Bhai, he won't let us anywhere and you won't let me anywhere" Said Ansh
"I'm not the one who won't let you I'm the one who knows what will happen if he gets to know about what we are doing "Said Dev
"and my question how would he get to know" Said Ansh
"you don't know him" Said Dev
"ok let's not think about him" Said Ansh
"yeah" Said Dev
They were roaming on the streets and it was almost two hours
"Ansh we need to go home, we are late" Said Dev
"Is there anyone waiting at our home bhai must at the clinic" Said Ansh
"It's not about that we need to go back home we can't roam here all day. Anyways we are not buying anything so there's no point of just being on the street" Said Dev
"So we can go into a mall this is a big mall ahead" Said Ansh
"No means no, we need to go home right now come on" Said Dev
He held on hand I started to walk the direction of their house
Ansh Freed himself from Dev's hand and started to run towards the mall "catch me if you can" Said Ansh
"Come over here" Said Dev
"I'm not going to come if you can catch me that's well and good" Said Ansh
They started to run which resulted in Ansh speeding up even more and ultimately fall down.
Dev ran towards Ansh and picked him up. "Are you okay" Asked Dev
"I guess I'm not" Said Ansh
"This is the reason I told you to return home. You can't start running everywhere. We need to go home the nearest Medical store is even farther than our home." Said Dev
He held Ansh's arms and supported him to walk.
At home
Dev washed the dirt from Ansh's legs and applied medicine.
"Does it hurt?" Said Dev
"Hmm" Said Ansh
Ansh was looking at Dev with puppy eyes, "Bhai" Said Ansh
"NO" Said Ansh
"I haven't even said anything." Said Ansh
"I know what you are going to say, so, I don't know how all these happened, I have no idea how are you going to explain this to Bhai" Said Dev
"Please, no please" Said Ansh
"Did I not warn you about this? Did I not tell you not to do this? Did you listen to me? Then that is your problem why did you run? I'm sorry I just can't help you anymore" Scolded Dev
Ansh was looking down, listening to Dev.
"I guess we should complete the rest of our studies because we are having exams" Said Dev after a long pause.
Everything went well until 6:00 pm when Tej arrived at home.
