Dev placed the package at the entrance where he received it and went to his room. Ansh came to his room again to find him busy, not responding enough, and when he left his room he stumbled upon the package and fell down. Dev quickly ran towards him helping him get up and both looked at the package which was now almost destroyed.

"Are you blind?" Said Dev

"Me? Really? You were the one who kept it at the entrance, who keeps things at the door." Said Ansh trying to get up.

"Do you have any idea what WAS in there?" Added Ansh

"I don't know but I still hope it IS in there." Said Dev

They opened the box which was almost damaged to realise there were four glass frames out of which two were completely broken the third one had a crack and the fourth one was not broken.

"What is this bhai?" Said Ansh as he saw the broken glass pieces

"That does not matter. What do we do now?" Said Dev

"I think we should call.." Said Ansh but even before he could complete Dev said,

"Want to kill me right through the phone?"

"Then we have no other option than to wait for bhai to return and that too late." Said Ansh.

"He would kill us." Said Dev

"Not us, it's you, I didn't know about this I don't know how this happened and I am not at fault" Said Ansh getting up and going to his room.

"You should try to save me." Said Dev

"I should save myself first and what do you mean by save I'm really not at fault." Said Ansh and went to his room

The duo had the dinner as Tej had already informed that he was going to be late which was something Dev remembered and they waited for him to return though he told them to sleep by then.

"Ansh!" Called Dev as he knew he must be tired so he should sleep.

"Yeah" Said Ansh

"Go sleep." Said Dev

"Bhai but..." Said Ansh looking at the clock

"I will be awake, you go to sleep" Said Dev

"No, I will not" Said Ansh and went into Dev's room.

"Ansh, see it's late, you go, sleep." Said Dev

"I can't leave you alone." Said Ansh

"What do you mean alone, we are in the same house" Said Dev with a chuckle

"Don't be funny bhai, I will be awake with you." Said Ansh and stretched a little on the couch.

They were in Dev's room and Ansh had fallen asleep on the couch near the bed, waiting, while Dev was nervous, as he was really confused. Tej came home but didn't ring the bell but as he entered he saw Dev standing as if waiting for him.

"I told you to sleep. It's late" Said Tej seeing Dev waiting for him.

"Bhai..." Said Dev, nervous

"Don't tell me Ansh is awake too." Said Tej

"No, he is asleep." Said dev walking behind him

"Okay. And what about the parcel? I told you everything in the morning. But why would you listen, right?" Said Tej walking towards his room.

"Bhai I am sorry." Said Dev.

There was no reply as he was busy in freshening up in his room, and Dev quickly decided to tell him about that before he found it out.

"Bhai, what was in there in the parcel" He asked just to know if it was important

"Oh yes, you got to be careful with it" Said Tej.

"Bhai...I had not...I mean...we opened it..." Said Dev shuttering.

"Huh? Why?" Asked Tej, astonished

"I mean it...broke." Said Dev with a gulp

"Broke? Was it damaged? We can return it." Said Tej laying down on the bed.

"No, I had kept it at the entrance. And Ansh stepped on it." He said

"What? Where is he?" Said Tej, shocked ta their behaviour

"He is not at fault bhai, I kept it at the wrong place. I hadn't heard you... when you told about it in the morning" Said Dev lowering his gaze.

"What do you mean you didn't hear?" Said Tej getting up from the bed

"Sorry bhai!" Said Dev

"Wait a minute, did you lock all the doors, the backyard and the roof gates?" Asked Tej because he realized that he must not have paid attention to that also.

Dev stood there for a couple of seconds and ran towards the backyard remembering to lock that too. And as he came in he started to run to the roof when he found Tej coming down indicating he locked it.

"Bhai..." Said Dev

*SLAP*

"Dev! Even Ansh is more responsible than you!" Said Tej with a frown

"Bhai, I think I didn't hear . I am so sorry." Said Dev

He looked at the clock and it was really late to talk. He twisted his ears and said " I need you here tomorrow morning. Reach as soon as possible."

"Ouch bhai...I will..." Said Dev.

The next morning Dev woke up at the usual time completely forgetting to get up early, but realized that he could still reach if he freshens up fast

"Oh! I need to run!" He said to himself

He ran into Tej's room only to find the empty room. He sat on the couch and started to check some messages on his phone, waiting for Tej.

"You have no shame, isn't it?" Said Tej as he saw him with his phone even when he had called him.

"Bhai. I was.." Said Dev

"What bhai? Are you crazy? Do you even know how dangerous is it to open all the doors." Said Tej sitting down on the bed

"Bhai...I.." Said Dev lowering his gaze.

"And The glass frames." Said Tej remembering the parcel which was destroyed.

"You bought them?" Asked Dev

"That's not the point." Said Tej raising his voice

"Sorry, Bhai!" Said Dev

"You are not getting any of your devices until you don't prove to be responsible." Said Tej

"Not even my laptop?" asked Dev

"No! And dare not question.." Said Tej"

"What do you do on that huh? Care about no one talking to you." Added Tej

"I do" Said Dev

"Oh really, I don't find you even talking properly to Ansh." Said Tej

"Umm...he" Said Dev trying to remember about the time when he didn't talk to Ansh, when he came to his room

"Don't complain." Said Tej getting up.

Tej took his phone and laptop but kept it in his room and left for the clinic even before Ansh knew about all this.
