5 more minutes and she'd come through that door. Her black stilettos on, some cute looking outfit, sunglasses, and her hair done to perfection. She'd come to the counter and smile that gorgeous smile and ask for her regular order. A tall iced coffee in a grande cup with extra ice, 3 pumps hazelnut, 2 pumps classic, an inch of non-fat milk, with a dome lid and a venti straw, two velvet white chip cookies-since the first time she came I got the order wrong when she only wanted one, she always asks for two-and a napkin. I only knew her by Ari, was what I always put in purple sharpie on her cup, because black was too plain for the outstanding girl.

Yeah yeah, you must be thinking, why would I, a Barista, be crushing on some regular customer? Well, she has become my favorite, within the 6 months she's been coming here. She's always so nice to me and those around her. And when she walks in everyone on the staff and some other regulars wave to her. Her whole essence screams lovable.

My boss, Tess, always tells me after she leaves, that, "Zayn, you can't date the customers, so put your oogly eyes away and serve a mean latte." and pats my back. Everyone on the staff knows I'm completely fallen for the short brunette whom I barely even know. But I can tell, she's something.

"3 minutes, Zaynie boy." Chris chuckles as he walks by with some pastries to put in the oven. I rush to get the velvet white chip cookies warmed up and try to style my hair correctly from the reflection of a tin that holds some other random treats.

"Hi, Zayn!" I jump and turn to see Ari, standing in jeans, and a black mid length sleeve, off the shoulder top.

"Oh, hey Ari." I shyly waved with everyone else. "You look good today." I said, trying to boost my confidence. She smiled that bright smile which almost made me faint.

"Thanks. Can I get my regular, please?" She asked, leaning onto the counter, making our faces mere inches apart. My eyes widened and I nodded, rushed to the machines, tripping over mid-air, making her giggle, which made me smile. She had such a nice laugh.

"Kissy kiss." Chris made kissing sounds as he walked by and I slapped his back. After I made her coffee, got her cookies and napkin, I made my way back to the counter.

"That'll be 4.60." She smiled and handed me a 5 dollar bill and a piece of paper.

"Slip that in your pocket, and keep the change, Zayn." She blew a kiss as she took her bag with cookies and coffee to go. I quickly stuffed the paper in my pocket, hoping nobody saw and went on with my day at Starbucks. But holy crap, I hope it's her number.
