"Ya know, I've kinda always have had an interest in you. I'm honestly surprised you don't have a girlfriend, Zayn. I didn't think you'd call and you'd just brush me off...but you didn't. And that made me really happy." She stared at her fingers as she twiddled with them on the table.
"I'm happy too." I took a sip of wine. "So, what do you do for work, Ari?" I liked using her nickname, since that's all I've known until recently.
"I own 4 boutiques actually. I usually work with the business side of it, even though I have a good sense of fashion. Which explains my outfits everyday I come to get my coffee and cookies." She must work out a lot because those cookies could blow you up in a matter of days of eating them.
"I see, any hobbies?"
"I like dancing and goofing off. You?"
"I like listening to music, drawing, and hanging out." She nodded and she took the last bite of her panini sandwich and downed the last of her water as I did the same with my wine.
"On me." I smiled and paid the bill and left a nice tip, because I know the struggle.
"Shall we?" I stood and held out my arm for Ari. She giggled and shook her head at me as she looped her arm through mine. We walked out into the cool night air and I was happy I had a clean white shirt that had mid length sleeves because the air felt great against my skin.
"I have one last thing planned, if that's okay with you?" She looked slightly confused, but nodded as we crossed the street and kept walking until we met the gravelled path. The path soon led to a bridge.
"What are you planning Mr.Malik?" She said smiling. I shrugged and lifted her up, making her squeal.
"More cheesy things." I set her onto the railing and hopped up beside her.
"Look up." Ari looked up, as told, and smiled widely. It made me feel all warm and happy. God, I'm too sensitive.
"It's amazing. You have an amazing view of the moon." When you looked up all you saw was bunches of trees and right in the middle of it all, was the moon. And tonight it was full and beautiful.
"Yeah, I like to come here on full moons. And tonight just happened to be our date, so I thought, why not?" She turned to me and cocked an eyebrow.
"Date?" My eyes widened.
"If you don't want it to be-"
"Date it is." She smiled as she looked back up. I blew out a sigh of relief and stared at her moonlit skin. She looked absolutely mesmerizing.
"Zayn...I know you're watching me." I quickly looked down in between the planks of the bridge at the flowing water.
"It's cute...you're cute." I slowly looked back at her, to see her looking at me. With those big brown eyes...wait, were they really that big, why are they getting bigger?
"Kiss me." Ari whispered. I pushed my lips to hers, afraid I'd lose the chance, and held her by her hips, as she gripped onto my shirt. Her lips were too soft to be real, they felt great against mine. I was losing air, but I didn't want to stop.
"Zayn."
"Shoot. I got caught up..." I bit my lip.
"It's okay...I liked it." She touched her lips softly and smiled. "Umm...I guess it's time to call it a night?" I nodded awkwardly and got down and helped Ari down too. We walked back to the limo in a comfortable silence.
I can't believe I actually kissed her.

"This is where I sadly leave you." I let go of Ari's hand and she nodded.
"Thanks for tonight Zayn...it was great." She hugged me abruptly and I hugged back. Dang, this girl is warm. She went to turn around, but I grabbed her wrist softly.
"Ariana," She turned around and leaned down very low and pressed my mouth to hers softly. "See you tomorrow." She smiled and nodded.
"See you tomorrow, Zayn."
