Fox's Love 2017-2019 (REWRITING)

Chapter 1

3 years old

   Mommy and Daddy are taking me out on a picnic today. I put on a pink dress and tied the black lace around my neck to hold the dress up. Mommy and Daddy say I'm really smart for my age and I can do stuff by my self that other three year olds can't. Like fighting, Daddy taught me how to fight in my fox form and my human form. This is because in human age I am only two; in Fox age I am eight. For us fox shape shifters age doesn't matter especially in an inter racial relationship between Human's and Fox shifters. My Mommy is 29 and my Daddy is 31 in human years but 36 in fox years. Every year for a human is five years for a Fox.

    I ran out and to the kitchen where Mommy was making out lunch, I ran up to her pulling her purple dress. She look down and smiled at me, she kneeled down to my level, "Yes honey what is it?"

I smiled brightly in wonder and excitement, "Mommy, Mommy what are you making for the picnic?"

She chuckled and rubbed my head, " Thats a secret, but I'm almost done. Go tell your daddy, that were almost ready to go." I nodded and ran to find Daddy.

     Daddy was a white fox shapeshifter and Mommy was a human. Mommy and Daddy told me that makes me half human half fox shapeshifter. So I have black hair and fox ears and a tail, I can also shape-shift into a fox like Daddy. Daddy said that makes me special, the only one of my kind. I saw my Daddy out side on the roof, fixing it with his tools.

"Daddy!!! Daddy!!" I shouted at him then beckoned him down.

He smiled at me and slid down landing on the ground, he walked over and picked me up spinning me around and letting me sit on his hip.

"How's Daddy's princess?" He kissed my head. I giggled and kissed his cheek.

"I'm fine. Mommy said were almost ready to go." He lifted me up and sat me on his shoulders.

" Okay, well I'm ready too."

I giggled, " But Daddy, you left your tools on the roof." I said in ' your silly' tone.

He looked up at the roof and smiled, "Oh I did, You are such a smart girl." He praised. I giggled again, as he jumped up on to the roof.

"I hope you don't mind taking you with me, princess." He said in a playful tone and grabbed the tools.

Then he jumped off the roof, we headed in side and he set the tools next to the couch. Just then Mommy came out holding the picnic basket and picnic blanket, "Were ready to go."

-later on-

I was still on daddy's shoulders playing with a yellow butterfly that kept landing on my nose. The place were we go on picnics is really deep into the forest but it's my favorite place.

   Suddenly four men with masks jumped down from trees in front of us, Mommy and Daddy stopped laughing and talking and frowned at them. The man in front eyes me and smiled creepily, it gave me shivers.

"Get the child, she'll be a pretty penny." The man said to his friends.

   Daddy picked me up off his shoulders and gave me to Mommy. He changed into his fox form and attacked the men, Mommy sat me down and faced me away from the men and Daddy. She looked me in the eyes.

"Sweety I want you to run, okay. Run away from here as fast as you can, and hide. Don't worry about me or Daddy. Now go." I nodded and looked at her with tearful eyes.

   The look on her face told me I probably won't find her alive, but still I had to listen to Mommy. So I ran as fast as I could away from the scary men and Mommy and Daddy.
