Chapter 5

Last time on Fox's love....

I woke up sitting on a shelf in the Hokage's office. I turned and stared wide eyed at Gramps and he stared wide eyed at me, the there was a loud creak. The shelf couldn't sustain my weight and snapped under the pressure and I fell through all three shelves. I landed hard on the ground, groaned and looked up.

  Slowly the other objects started to slide off the shelf, I looked at them wide eyed and rolled out of the way at ther last second. I sat up and rubbed my head.

"Who's idea was it to put my soul gem on the top shelf?" I thought out loud looking at the mess I made.

"Shiroi?" I heard a voice ask. I looked at gramps, then I broke into a smile happy tears fell down my face.

"Gramps!" I stood up tackling him in a bone crushing hug. "I missed you so much" I said.

Gramps broke out of his shocked trance and hugged me back, "Shiroi, your pare-"

I sat back and cut him off, " I know gramps. They already told me, well the chakra that they sealed into my soul gem did. They told me about my brother too, I know I shouldn't tell him yet. Just tell me what happened all the years I missed." I said looking straight at him.

He sighed and looked at me, "Ok..."

I sat back and listened to every thing that had happened over the years. I flipped when I found out that Itachi had killed his whole can, and left only his baby brother Sasuke.

"Itachi what?!" I exclaimed, before Gramps could even speak again I stopped him by crossing his arms.

"No, I don't believe it, not with out reason. So what really happened?" I demanded Gramps.

He sighed and rubbed his forehead, "I can't tell you that Shiroi."

I slammed my hand onto the desk, "No! I had babysat that boy long enough to know for a fact he did not do that with a specific reason. Even when he was six he acted like a real Hokage, and never did anything with out reason. I also know that he loved his family very much, and that he loved this village even more. So spill the beans, and I will not take no for an answer."

Gramps stared at me for a whole minute before sighing once again, "Fine then.... The Uchiha's were planning to rise against Kohona and take over. Itachi was the best and only one to be able infiltrate and preform a complete annihilation of the Uchiha clan. I didn't want to, so I asked for more time. Unfortunately I couldn't come up with anything to avoid that, so Danzo the head of the ANBU ordered Itachi to kill his clan in exchange we let his brother live. Now Itachi is keeping tabs on the Akatsuki." My hand gripped the end of the of the table in anger.

   "So you forced him to kill his own family and leave his brother alone, cause his own brother was turned into a 'rouge' ninja. Knowing Itachi he probably told his brother some lie to make him hate him and try to get revenge so he could feel attained for the 'sins' he committed..." I muttered.

I calmed my self down, "Never mind that. I want to become a ninja, as well as I want you to put me on the team with my brother. I don't want any buts I promised my dad, the Fourth Hokage, that I would protect my brother. As well as I promised my brother the day he was born that I would protect him. " I said calmly and gently let go of the desk. Gramps knew he couldn't argue with me so he nodded.

"Fine but I must tell you. The villagers don't know that Minato is yours and Naruto's father. However they do know what happened to you, but only a select few. I can't guarantee that you won't be treated badly for your nature. Naruto already gets treated badly enough cause he is the nine tails jinchuriki, I don't know how they will treat you. Especially the children."
