Suman's Pov :

The laptop was warm on my lap as I scrolled through job portals, scanning for a breakthrough opportunity for both Tina and me. We'd recently graduated and were determined to make our mark in the professional world. The thought of earning our own money, being independent-it was exhilarating.

Suddenly, my eyes caught a name that made my heart skip. The Singhania Corporation.

I zoomed in on the post and clicked it. It felt too good to be true. Three job openings: two in the finance department and one as the personal assistnt to the CEO. My heart raced as I read further.

"Tina! The Singhania Corporation has three vacancies!" I shouted excitedly.

Her eyes widened as she peeked over my shoulder. "Are you sure? That company hardly ever has openings. It's, like, impossible to get in."

"I double-checked! This is our chance!" I grinned."Be ready-the interview is in three days."

Her face lit up. "Oh my god, Suman! This is it! We could actually make it!"

"Let's celebrate, dude!" I exclaimed, jumping up in excitement.

"Calm down, idiot," she scolded, smirking. "We don't even have the jobs yet. One step at a time!"

Still buzzing with excitement, we quickly decided on our plan. Tina applied for the finance department, and I went for the personal assistant role. It felt surreal to think about working for India's number one company, the very organization we'd admired for so long.

To cap off the day, we invited Kartik and Ruhi over for a mini get-together. It turned into an evening of laughter, homemade food, and even a surprise announcement-Kartik and Ruhi revealed they were gtting engaged soon! Ruhi also apologized for the dare fiasco at the club, and I couldn't stay mad.

Later, when everyone left, I decided to pamper myself. My body ached, and my mind felt cluttered. A hot shower, soft pajamas, and some skincare felt like the reset I needed. I even lit scented candles and played soft music in the background. The soothing ambiance gave me a moment to reflect.

Madhu was the only family I had left, but she'd always been my rock. I didn't need much else besides hr and my small circle of friends.

Friendship wasn't something I ever thought I'd be lucky enough to experience, let alone cherish. Before college, I'd been the type to keep to myself-quiet, reserved, and too wrapped up in my world of books and dreams to let anyone in. But everything changed when I met Tina.
