I stood before Kanha ji's altar, the weight of my impending exam pressed upon me. I lit the diya, its flame flickering in the dimly lit room, and placed Prashad delicately on the plate.

With closed eyes and joined hands, I whispered my earnest prayers for blessings to perform at my utmost.

Kanha ji, today is the first exam of my final year, please give me blessings that I perform to my level best”

"Mumma, I'm running terribly late. I'll grab something to eat after the exam," I hurriedly declared, heading towards the exit gate. But just as I reached it, I encountered Papa, a bowl in his hands.

"Hey, hey, beta ji," he called out, a spoon poised near my mouth. "Have some dahi-chini before you go." With a swift gulp, I accepted his offering, smiling gratefully at his gesture.

"Okay, Papa, I really have to go now," I insisted, waving my farewells as I left. From the corner of my eye, I caught a glimpse of Mumma peeping out from the kitchen, her silent wishes trailing after me.

As I hastened to secure an auto to college, I dialled my best friend Aayu's number, breathlessly chiding her for any sign of tardiness.

Aayu? Where are you? Don’t tell me you are still sleeping like a pig. You also have an exam today. ”

“Fuck, I am on my way.” I heard her groggy morning voice. I met Aayushi on our convocation day only and since then she has been stuck with me forever.

Although I never took her as the medicine major since seeing how lazy her lifestyle is still, being a doctor was always her dream and even her Mom’s dream as she told me on our first day. While I was always interested in building homes. Doing interior designing is my passion but seeing Papa tell me that I need to have college experience and a proper graduation degree, I opted for a Bachelor of Arts. Along with this, I am trying to grab an internship in a design firm so that I can fulfil my dream.

@rishabj12 posted a story.

My phone pinged with a notification and I saw my other dream posting a story. I clicked on it and it was a perfect view of the building from a glass window while half of was his desk and his hand was visible where a black watch shined. The watch I gifted him.

I giggled seeing the story, I pressed the heart button on the side and replied with All the best on your first day :)

It was the first day of his internship as he was in his last semester so now he has to grab the campus placement for which he needs his resume to show his best internships.

He contacted my brother and he helped him in finding good opportunities. I was trying so hard that they liked each other but my brother being my brother hated his guts. But I love him, I want my family to like him.
Thank you, baby.
