Zhan walks inside the hospital tensed, he was worried, he saw his parents who were at the same condition. Everybody was just hoping that Yibo and the baby will be fine..but Zhan was more worried about his bobo and nothing more.
They all sat there in complete silence, Mrs. Xiao was continuously praying. Ji li and Jackson were standing leaning on the wall with tensed faces. Nobody was calm. Just then, the doctor came out of the room and the family instantly leaped towards him.
"What happened doctor?", Mrs. Xiao asks immediately while holding his arms, "Is he alright and the baby?", Mr. Xiao asked next while turning the doctor towards him, who was confused on who to answer first or what to answer.
Just then Zhan came, slightly pushed his parents and everybody away, held doctor, "How is my Yibo? Tell me!", he yelled with desperation, he was panicked, his heart was beating loudly.
The doctor seeing this got terrified and gulped down hard, he then nodded slowly, "Thanks to the god the baby and the father both are alright..just a minor accident, nothing more. Oh and The father has given birth to a little girl child, congratulations", the doctor gave the best news.
Everybody's mood lightened up hearing this, Mrs. Xiao immediately bursted into tears, while her husband hugged her tightly, Ji li and Jackson jumped and hugged eachother while grinning widely. While Zhan was still not satisfied, he wanted to see with his own eyes if his love is okay or not.
"Can I see him?", Zhan asked while staring at the doctor who smiles softly and answers with, "No, not yet. He is unconscious, just wait till he gets conscious"
Zhan sighs and softly nods, he walks back and sits on the bench while resting his head on his palms. "Doctor can we see the baby?", Mr. Xiao asks with happiness, the other nods smiling, "Yes, you can".
Hearing this everyone felt happy and they immediately send doctor to bring the baby girl to them, their small version of Wuxian, their little Xian-xian.
Soon the nurses brings a very tiny baby girl, wrapped on the warm cloths. The family ran towards the nurse and starts looking at the baby very fondly, Mrs. Xiao couldn't hold back and took her granddaughter from the nurse who carefully hands her the tiny girl.
Whereas, Mr. Xiao and Ji Li were fondly looking at the baby with smile, they were too happy to utter anything. Meanwhile Jackson was leaning on the wall and looking at the scene from far away, he was too worried that his bestfriend Yibo might have known the truth.
His best friend will never forgive him, knowing Jackson betrayed him. He was too heartbroken and couldn't stand this anymore, he sat on the bench sighing deeply. Jackson's heart was beating rapidly, he glances at Zhan who was at the same condition.
Zhan was not knowing if he should be happy by the news that Yibo and the baby both are fine and the baby also got born perfectly..or sad about that now..He won't get his Yibo back, his love will hate him and it will hurt him very deeply.
Zhan slowly walked towards his parents to take a glance at his brother's baby girl..so fragile and beautiful.."Just like Bobo", Zhan whispers to himself and chuckles brokenly, he seems to get all more pain looking at the baby..he should be happy, but he isn't.
"Would you like to carry your child?", Mrs. Xiao asks softly looking at her son, Zhan hearing this looks at her and smiles sadly, "..I-i would love to", he utters softly while extending his arms.
Mrs. Xiao smiles and hands him the little girl carefully, Zhan carries her perfectly and looks at her, he smiles softly, If only this child was his very own daughter. Oh, how happy he could have been. But the fate is completely different and now in some minutes, Yibo is completely going to hate him. He must be prepared for that too..
"..I love you..so much", Zhan utters softly while looking at the little life on his arms who was busy sleeping, he chuckles softly and hands the baby back to his mother who carefully takes her and gives it back to nurse. "We will send her for check ups", the nurse says and walks away with the baby in her hand.
Zhan walks back to Jackson who looks at him and down, both were too heartbroken and filled with guilt. After some time, the doctor comes to inform that finally Yibo has woken up from his deep consciousness.
Everybody got panicked and nervous hearing this, but they felt relieved as well. Nobody were ready to face Yibo just yet. They were scared of what might happen now that the boy has gotten the cruel information..which was evil truth.
Among them, the most worried and nervous was Zhan.
Somehow collecting themselves, they finally went inside Yibo's room with reluctant and hesitant steps. Yibo was laying on the bed while staring at the ceiling, he seemed heartbroken and completely destroyed. He felt betrayed by his own peoples.
"...Bobo son...how are you feeling?", Mrs. Xiao asks with slight courage, she was filled with guilt as well, although the boy just kept staring at the ceiling as a single tear dropped from his eyes. Zhan's heart clenched seeing that, but he can't say anything as he knew he was in no place to talk.
He just stood silently behind his parents, Jili and Jackson. "...We..we know our mistake and we..we are deeply guilty for this..but we just wanted to protect you bobo..we..care for you, we love you", Mr. Xiao utters softly with shaky voice, he was not ready to talk as he immediately looked away in guilt.
Yibo being in the state of daze came out of it, ".....Liar.....e-everybody is a liar.....betrayal....", he utters slowly and very softly, Everybody's heart broke once again while hearing this..but who wouldn't agree to that, they were just that..Liar..betrayal..bad.
"..I...I should have just died while giving birth to the child....this world is unfair..too unfair..", Yibo utters while staring at the ceiling, his eyes filled with tears, pain and deep hurt. "W-we know we made a mistake...no...not a mistake but...but this was too much...but please understand bobo..we just wanted to save and protect you...", Jackson utters while his voice broke down slightly, he was trying hard not to burst into tears.
"...Its disgusting...being with your own brother in law...in the same room..on the same bed...cuddling together..", Yibo utters and bursts into tears, everyone can tell that his heart was breaking too much. "T-this is unforgettable..unforgiving!", Yibo yells while he sobs die heartedly.
Everybody stays silent and just listens, they knew nothing can be happen, they knew they can't get forgiveness this easily. "...Bobo please..forgive us..we did it just for you and your daughter..she came out beautiful just like you..have you met her yet?", Mrs. Xiao asks softly.
Yibo hearing this turns towards her, "..G-give..give me my daughter...let me..look", he utters while trying to get up, he groans in pain and Zhan immediately came forward to help him, but Yibo stopped him by putting his palm forward.
Yibo looks towards the other with tears and anger in his eyes, "Don't dare touch your brother-in-law". Zhan was overstruck hearing this, his heart shattered into pieces, the last hope which was left was completely gone now. Mr. Xiao, Mrs. Xiao, Ji li and Jackson looks at Zhan sadly, who takes a step back from Yibo and stood there with his head down.
It was messed up.
