Chapter 1: Abroad 🛬 (Isa's pov)
Oh my god. Ohy mgod. Ogmhyod.
zzz...wait-
"I'm messing up my words even in my mind. I'm excited! Well, I shouldn't be because- ", and I was interrupted, as usual.
"Oh please, if you utter a single negative word now, I'll zip your mouth shut with a metal strap Isa.", Miraine said.
"Okay ma'am."
Her name pretty much looks like migraine, doesn't it? I know right?? She just gives me migraines throughout the day, not to mention that she's such a pain in the ass, pain in my little ass.
Basically I'm moving to Texas to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio for my undergraduate majors degree and that particular university because it's my lovely abuelo's alma mater. No I do NOT have Spanish descendants, I just like the language okay? So don't judge.
I'll be travelling overseas for the second time in my life, the first one being when I went to visit my cousin brother in Dubai, and I can't be any less excited than I am at this very moment. I have been dreaming of studying abroad since youknowwhen. No even I don't know when either, sorry smh but yeah.
And the fact that my so-called 'bestfriend' who is no less than an eighty-eight year old grandma while showering me with her occasional useless advices, makes me love her more than she deserves. Yes I believe I love her a lot more than she deserves, think of me to be a bitch but that's who I am. But I love her, the abso-fucking-lute best person (sorry for the language I'm not usually like this). I know all this excitement will die down eventually considering the type of person I am but I can keep up with the bubbly pretense just for Miraine's sake, can't I?
"You ready girls?" My dad called out.
My precious father, just slightly overprotective at times but that's fine by me, most of the time atleast. He's the best father I could ever ask for. Nope no family dramas for now.
