Kevin, Jason, and Ross arrived at the station and waited for Elina and Jiya. Jason checked his watch and frowned. "What's taking them so long?" he asked.
Kevin suggested, "Why don't we call and ask them?" Ross nodded and dialed Jiya, but before he could say anything, Jiya's panicked voice shouted, "We're on our way!!!" and then she hung up. Ross was dumbfounded by how loud she was, while Kevin patted his back and Jason spoke, "I hope your ears are fine," making Ross fake cry as he hugged Kevin, who initially made faces but then just let him hug as he patted him slowly.
"I'm sure they just left home," Jason said, shaking his head. "Let's wait inside until they come," Kevin suggested, gently separating Ross from himself. They nodded and headed to their compartment.
After a few minutes, they all slapped their forehead as they saw Jiya and Elina from their window, going in opposite directions. Jason immediately stood up. "I'll go bring them," he sighed and went after them, while Ross nodded and Kevin just looked at Elina.
She's looking cute...
Jason called out, "Jiya! Elina!" They turned and hurried toward him, eyes wide. Jason shook his head as they got closer. He took a look at Elina, noticing she looked different today, as he wondered being stunned.
Why does she look so different?
He thought and averted his gaze as they came near him. As they reached him, Jiya and Elina huffed, catching their breath. While Jason blinked and then looked back towards them as he spoke with a different tone "This is why you should wake up on time," he said as he shook his head while Jiya nodded as she asked him to move aside.
"Yeah yeah~" she said while they entered one by one. As they reached their seats, Ross exclaimed "Finally, everyone's here!!"
Kevin nodded at Ross's words, and just then his eyes met Elina's. But their eye contact was broken as Jason scoffed and touched Elina's hair. "What did you do with your hair?"
Elina removed his hand and glared. "Those are called curls!" she exclaimed and took her seat by the window.
"Why did you have to do it when you already had good hair?" Jason asked while Jiya gave a teasing smile, sitting beside Elina.
"Well, you won't understand it," Jiya said, winking at Elina.
Don't worry, I'll play the cupid for you.
Please don't make it obvious, Jiya.
Elina widened her eyes and shook her head while Jiya nodded and closed her eyes in reassurance. Jason looked at them weirdly. "You guys are weird," he said, sitting beside Kevin. Just then, the train started.
"Woah! No one's gonna take that seat?" Jason scoffed, amused by the vacant seat beside Jiya.
"It's better this way," Jiya said, stretching her arms and smiling at Elina.
Time skip
They got off the train and reached the station. Kevin was about to approach Elina when Jason came and pulled her aside. "Heyya! How can you be so careless?" Jason exclaimed, handing Elina her phone.
"Oh my gosh! Thank you so much, Jason!" she exclaimed, relieved.
Jason nodded and ruffled her hair, changing her mood in a second. Elina whined, "JASON!!!" and ruffled his hair back, making him frown. "What?! I just touched your hair?" he questioned, touching his own hair.
Elina widened her eyes and faked a punch. "You don't know how much time it took to do my curls!" she said, then her eyes met Kevin's. She blinked and looked away, immediately fixing her hair.
