Chapter 11

P.O.V Kajol

In the morning when I woke up, there was no one home. When I went down to the kitchen, I noticed a note on the refrigerator. It said that my parents had arrived late at night and had to leave for work early in the morning. My mom was apologizing for not seeing me. I honestly felt a little sad, but not mad at my parents. I understand them. Work doesn't allow us to spend time together often, but I'm not complaining. I'm happy with everything. My parents do anything to make me happy. I love them with all my heart and they love me.

Oh, and I almost forgot to tell you. My mom wrote in a note that they went to a conference with Shahrukh's parents and offered to invite them over if I wanted to. My mom is so warm to Shah. She has been nice to all my ex-boyfriends, but she is very warm to Shahrukh.

While I was thinking about Shakrukh, my phone rang. Shahrukh's name came up on the phone display and a picture of me and him that we took at the cotton candy park. Shahrukh and I hugging each other smiling at the camera. I smiled involuntarily at the picture, but the annoying phone call brought me back to reality. I answered the phone.

- Hi. - smiling into the receiver I answered.

- Hello, beauty. - came Shahrukh's cheerful voice.

- How are you? - I asked, picking up my bag.

- Good. You know already? - Shah asked at once. I already knew what he was talking about

- Yes, I know. Mom wrote a note - I said and went downstairs to the living room.

- And suggested that Aishwarya and I be invited?

- Yes. How did you know that? - I asked in surprise.

- It was just that my mother suggested that I invite you to join us, because you are also alone - Shahrukh said a little worried.

- Our moms are alike, - I said laughing.

- That's for sure. Listen, Aish and I are going to school now and we might let you down. - Shah suggested.  Why not?

- Yeah. Great, I'll wait for you - I said yes right away.

- We'll be at your place in ten minutes. See you, beauty. - he said, and then he disconnected To be honest, I like it when he calls me pretty.

Waiting for the car horn or the doorbell to ring, I was focused on that. And suddenly the signal I even jumped a little on the spot, dropping my keys. When I came out of the house, Shahrukh was standing next to the open car door.

- You look beautiful today, - Shahrukh said with his stunning smile. The compliment from his side is very nice for me and plus those brown eyes, dimples on his cheeks and his smile almost knocked me off my feet.

- Thank you, - I smiled and Shah fixed my hair and closed the door behind me.

- Hi Aish - looking back I said hello to Aishwarya.

- Hi - she answered me with a smile and then looked at her phone.

- We are already late for the first class - said Khan looking at the watch on his hand and then looked at us. I unlocked my iPhone and in fact we were already five minutes late, and by the time we finished eating it would be 8:30.

- Well, we have to show up for school anyway. - I said, with a sad face.

- I have to go to math and take Aish - I was a little surprised by his words.

- You got an A in math - waving my hand to the side, I said.

- I must have failed the test, so I'm going to correct it and then to practice - I looked at Aishwarya. She was digging into her phone.
