Levi didn't want to sound skeptical, but Hobbs had been searching for Dominic Toretto and Brian O'Conner for the past two years. Levi had been looking for Violet for the same amount of time, yet they came up empty until a train car exploded, killing DEA agents. From everything Levi learned, directly from V, and from what he read about Toretto and O'Conner, they didn't show off like that. And they didn't let people die.

Toretto did almost beat a man to death when he was twenty – outside of that day, Toretto kept his anger to a minimum.

Hobbs had tunnel vision, no matter how much Levi tried to explain his ideas.

Levi knew that anything he said to Hobbs about Toretto, he'd ignore. He wanted to grab Toretto and bring him back to California. He didn't care how he did it, Hobbs wanted to bring him back alive and throw his ass into jail. No matter how weird the situation was.

Levi pulled out his phone, seeing a text message from Emmett. He had arrived back to the states, arriving to find out that Levi and Hobbs were gone. Levi couldn't tell him all the details; he just kept it simple. The less Emmett knew, the better.

Like V always said, Emmett liked Violet, even when he went undercover for a short time. Emmett respected that Violet didn't see him in that light, and he couldn't do anything even if she did. That would have been a mess of paperwork if DSS found out he slept with the one person they were watching like a hawk to make sure she wasn't in contact with her brother.

The plane landed on the airstrip in the middle of the night. At the moment, Toretto and O'Conner had an over 15-hour head start, something Hobbs absolutely hated. And he was going to make it everyone else's problem.

The polícia of Rio were already waiting for Hobbs to arrive with his team. As soon as the hatch of the plane was on the ground, Hobbs was already giving out the orders. He didn't care who didn't speak English, this was his mission now, and no one else's. "The men we're after are professional runners. They like speed and are guaranteed to go down the hardest possible way so make sure you got your funderwear on." Hobbs stated.

Levi rolled his eyes as he shifted the bag on his shoulder.

"We find 'em, we take 'em as a team, and we bring 'em back." Hobbs stopped, turning ot the team he brought with him. "And above all else, we don't ever, ever let 'em get into cars." That alone was going to be a feat, but Levi wanted to see Hobbs attempt to keep them away from cars the entire time they're in Rio. "Crime scene is 10 hours old and counting, men. Let's go hunting." Hobbs gestured his head for Levi to follow him.

Levi nodded once at Hobbs before walking backwards. The others always poked fun at the fact that Hobbs always picked Levi to be his "assistant". Levi shrugged as he turned forward once again as the chief of police approached.
