As the duo finished their trek through the cosmos, they both snapped their eyes wide as memories not their own flooded their minds. Momo knew without a shadow of doubt she was Tifa Lockhart, bartender of 7th Heaven, hand to hand combat extraordinaire, AVALANCHE member, and the childhood friend of Cloud Strife. Izuku, however, had his mind full of two versions of memories. As if his mind was muddled. Especially as they seemed to contradict each other. But when his eyes opened and he saw Momo/Tifa, his new memories soon sorted themselves.

He was Cloud Strife, failed SOLDIER applicant, former infantryman in Shinra's military, friend of 1st Class SOLDIER  Zack Fair, lab rat of Hojo, and childhood friend of Tifa Lockhart.

They had the world's strange powers and rules filling their minds. They were amazed that in this place, death, for the most part, seems but a temporary inconvenience. Izuku realized that he was lying in bed with a slick sheen of sweat covering his body as his head ached. Momo sat in a bed with tears falling as the duo remembered how Tifa had for weeks taken care of Cloud, who had been suffering from Mako poisoning. Only now Tifa's tears we matched by Momo's own at realizing they truly have a second chance. Izuku as well wept at the realization.

Before either realized it, they hugged one another tight as they wept. Unfortunately for Izuku, he had to let go as Momo yelped in pain from his immense mako enhanced strength. "I'm s-so s-sorry Yaoyorozu-san!" He exclaimed as he let go of the hug and nearly flung himself against the wall. Fearing that, he hurt her tremendously in his incredibly strong arms. Momo shook her head, breathing a sigh of relief. "It's okay, Izuku. You didn't hurt me all that much. Heh, I guess even in another world, your strength is incredible." Izuku felt relief, but he realized what she called him, and it made  his heart clench for a moment.

"Uhh d-did you call me Izuku, Yaoyorozu-san?" He asked, confused by her action. Momo giggled before she sighed. "Yes, I did. Sigh. After learning the hell you endured for not being born with a quirk, the torture you suffered at Bakahoe's explosive hands, and the actions you took every day at UA to be the hero deserving of All Might's power, and us.... dying. It seems only natural I call you as such. Well, unless we're around those who know these bodies." Izuku was surprised to find that agreeable. After all, they're no longer 100% Izuku Midoriya and Momo Yaoyorozu anymore. "I g-guess that makes sense, M-M-Momo..." He trailed off as he thought on the things he endured.

Soon enough, the two explained the people they replaced with one another. Both were stumped at Cloud's dual memories, but given Tifa's as well, they had realized the memories Izuku felt at first to be true actually were. However, learning of the Bombing of Mako Reactor 1 nearing that this world was something they didn't feel prepared for. They didn't want to do it, but at the same time, they feared if they didn't, then they'd not learn more about this planetary threat they needed to stop. It was then that they realized this was going to be very hard as in this world if you do not fight or kill, then you are most likely dead.

"Unfortunately, your analysis is accurate, Izuku Midoriya. In this world, only the strong survive. You and Momo Yaoyorozu have little choice but to be willing to kill to protect those you cherish and end threats. I know this differs from your world, but you have little choice if you wish to return to your world. If it helps, the only lives you must end are monsters and villains. As Gaia follows a strict balance. If the people you kill weren't ones that Cloud and Tifa had to kill, they would survive the battle by the skin of their teeth." Givrack's powerful voice filed the duo's minds.

As much as they yearned to return... they also never wanted to kill anyone. Sadly, they both nodded in understanding. "I wish we didn't have to kill Izuku." Momo's words filled his ears, making him sigh as he felt the same. "I wish we didn't have to either Momo. But in my memories, I have seen the truth of what happens if we let our enemies live. As much as I'm opposed to kill.... we seem to not be given a choice. At least we won't have to kill ever again when we return to Earth...." Izuku's words were full of emotion. He remembered Cloud killing many times as part of Shinra and lastly in his battle with Sephiroth in order to get vengeance for Tifa's father, Cloud's mother, and Nibelheim
