You wandered around the garden, your thoughts lost in the beauty of the flowers and fireflies that surround you. However, your peace was cut short by the sudden sharp voice that had come from behind you.
"Y/n, we need to talk," Melissa's voice cut through the air, her tone loud and sharp.
"Hey, is something wrong?" you asked concern laced in your voice, though confusion clouded your mind at her sudden presence, you decided to push your current thoughts away and focus your attention on her.
"Oh don't act like you don't know why I'm here Y/n" Melissa scoffed her frustration palpable.
"I beg your pardon?" you responded, so far you had done nothing to bother her so why was she here bothering you? Before you could say anymore, Melissa was quick to start throwing accusations towards you of ruining her relationship with Intak.
"Melissa! Please calm down, we can discuss this without you having to be so loud, please don't cause a scene" you suggested hoping to diffuse the current situation.
To no avail Melissa's anger only seemed to rise at your pleas, her emotions boiling over.
"Just admit it, Y/N!" she exclaims her eyes welling up with tears, while her hands clenched by her sides.
"Stop playing innocent, ever since you appeared again in his life, you've been nothing but a mere nuisance to me. Things have been falling apart between the both of us and it's all because of you," she said stepping closer to you.
"Not only that, but you've clearly dressed up like that to pry his attention from me to you." now this was where you drew the line, truly you felt sorry for her for feeling like this, but for her to accuse you of such a thing as dressing up for Intak's attention was something you wouldn't accept. It was your friend's wedding day so why wouldn't you dress nicely?
It was clear she needed to talk with Intak before accusing you of such a thing. Maybe this was a reason as to why many people didn't like her.
"Are you serious? In no way am I trying to steal the attention onto myself. Intak and I are nothing but exes and I've surely done nothing to provoke you into thinking such a way," you spoke before pausing.
"How about you talk to him about this whole thing before accusing me of wanting to steal the attention of someone's boyfriend onto myself" It truly upset you that someone could ever think such a way about you.
The tears that once flooded her eyes now flowed down onto her flushed cheeks which you assumed to be due to the anger she was releasing.
