"Gage." His name rolled off my tongue. Ever since the incident with him in the car, I haven't been the same.

"Gage." I said aloud. Beautiful.

I had a burning feeling in my chest. My stomach felt like butterflies. But not the kind of butterflies you get when you're nervous. These butterflies felt light and airy, they felt beautiful and free.

Is this what they call a "crush"?

Crush is a weird name to call somebody you love. What idiot thought of that?

So, here I am. Dirty bare feet (that had become very rough), greasy hair, and a white dress that now looked gray.

Paradise? I think not.

I'm so starved that I could faint. I should've thought about my decision before I ran away.

So apparently the woods behind our apartment aren't endless. I saw some light peeking behind the trees, and followed it. I heard voices. Human beings.

So this is the end. I know it's not finished, but I am discontinuing this story. I'm sorry to anyone who enjoyed reading this, but I've run out of ideas and have had no motivation to continue. I promise new books will be coming soon!
