I wandered around the town, not much had changed, same stores, same owners, some different employees but otherwise it was almost all the same. Almost.

1978 spring (towards the end of his 6th yr)

She continued ignoring him. After the duel he had followed her to help with the injuries. She wouldnt look at him the entire time.

He sat at slytherin table staring at her as she read. The books often reflected her mood. If it was happy then she was sad and needed some sort of escape. If the book was sad then she was most likely angry and needed something to focus on instead. when she was happy she would read romance.

He had read the book she was reading. It was rather angsty. He knew her sense they were 13 and never once had she read angst.

He shook his head and left the great hall, making his way towards the other side of the black lake. He sat staring at the water for a while when he heard footsteps. Hers.

"You know, you really shouldn't be that close to the water, seeing as you can't swim." her voice rang out. It was cold, and full of hatred.

"I'm surprised you're here."

"I didn't come to talk to you. I didn't know you were here." she sat down, leaving a person sized gap between them.

There was a thick silence.

"Els-"

"Fidelia." she corrected.

He sighed, "you have to understand, i-"

"Understand what?? That you're now a member of the club that murdered my mom, dad, and little sister in front of me!? There's nothing to understand."

She scoffed and got up, walking away.

"je t'aime, ma petite abeille. je vais toujours." He muttered into the lonely air.
