Sonic IDW Reimagining-Episode 5

*Quick Recap: Where we last left Sonic & Mike, they arrived at "Barricade-Town" and help Knuckles to set the town free from 2 lackeys: "Rough & Tumble", during the mission, Mike reunites with "Aiya the Bird" who he hasn't see since Mike was 6-years-old. Together, Rough & Tumble are defeated and they celebrate their victory, though the battle is not over yet, and our story continues.*

*Flashback: "A Day and Few Hours Ago", Location: "Village of Green-Hill", Time: "4:30am"*

"Aiya the Bird, asleep in her own hammock in her own hut early in the morning...until she's awaken by a little red male bird right by her."

(????): "Umm, sis. I had a nightmare..."-(Aiya sees him sad and shaken)

(Aiya the Bird): "Oooh little bro..."-(Quickly gives him a hug)-"Was it about what happened to Miss. Longclaw again?"-(As Aiya's brother sadly nods his head)-"I know...I miss her too. I mean it's been just about a month since the war ended. We should at least rest knowing that almost everything is fine now."

(????): "I know..."-*Sniffs*

(Aiya the Bird): "Would you like to take you for a walk with me outside to help you feel better Jake?"-(Suggesting something that might help, Jake nods his head yes)-"Alrighty then."-(As they get dress and head off for a walk)

"But in a blind of a eye as things flash before Aiya's eyes, she sees Jake getting captured by Badniks, trying & failing to save him and then falling off one of the Badniks as she screams."

*Cut back to Present-Day, Location: "Mountain-Tops near a Village", Time: "5:20am"*

(Aiya the Bird): *Gasp*-(As she wakes-up in a fright breathing heavily)

"She looks around and realises where she is as she's in a tent with Mike in the mountains sleeping after leaving the party last night."

(Aiya the Bird): *In her head*-'Oh...it was just a nightmare...but it felt real to me...'-*Sniffs*

"Aiya quietly heads off of the tent to get from fresh air outside while having some alone time. But didn't count for Mike hearing Aiya head out as he goes to check on her."

(Mike the Wolf): "Aiya?"-(Aiya hears him, but she doesn't responded as Mike places his hand on Aiya's shoulder)-"Are you feeling ok?"-(Worried for Aiya)

(Aiya the Bird): "S-Sorry, just had a dream about my little brother..."-(Remembering the dream she had, Mike interrupts)

(Mike the Wolf): "You had a little brother, when?"-(Quite curious)

(Aiya the Bird): "A year after you saved me years ago, he's 8 I believe. But yesterday he was captured by some Badniks, I tried to save him, but failed and lost track of him..."-(As her eyes start watering up...but not before Mike gives her a hug to help cheer her up)

(Mike the Wolf): "I'm sorry Aiya, we'll find him, that's a promise."-(Reassuring Aiya that they'll find him, Aiya smiles meekly)

(Aiya the Bird): "Thanks. Say, you still haven't told me about your scar, I know you said it's complicated...Look, if you still don't want to talk about, I understand, but I would like to help you through it, please."-(Wanting to support/help Mike, after Mike had some thoughts)

(Mike the Wolf): "Ok, I got this scar during the flooding of Station Square caused by this water-monster called: 'Chaos'."-(Aiya gasp while she says: "Oh no.")-"I...I also lost my father then as well..."-(Just before I can say what else happened)

"Suddenly, Sonic alongside one of the members of Team-Chaotix: 'Espio the Chameleon' appears before the 2 as Mike quick shakes/wipes off his saddens."

(Aiya the Bird): "Oh, Sonic!"-(Surprised to see Sonic)
