The man stood quietly. As usual, he watched me. I slightly rocked myself on the swing. It was dark out tonight but I loved the quiet peacefulness that came with being alone. The man got up, his movements silent.

'It feels like I'm being watched.' I thought as I stopped my movement, sitting still and trying to listen for anything suspicious. Soon, I could see a figure in a white hoodie approaching me. I looked at the figure and immediately was on guard, it was strange for anyone to be out this late. The figure, which I could now see as a man, stopped at the swing I was sitting on. There was a tense silence as we both looked at each other. He was wearing a mask and his face was slightly shadowed, so I couldn't make out any distinct features. I decided to break the silence. "Hello?" I asked the man. He stayed silent for a few seconds, before finally saying something.

"Hello... are you by any chance alone here?" His voice was deep.

'What should I say?' I asked myself. He was sketchy and it was a weird question to ask out of the blue in the first place. "I am. What's it to you?" I retorted in a questioning but hesitant tone.

"Don't be hostile." The man walked closer and sat on the swing seat next to me, not looking away from me. "I have a question. What are you doing here, in the woods, all alone in the late night?" He asked. After thinking of my answer, I responded with, "I'm enjoying the quiet here."

"And you aren't scared, being out here?" He quickly shot another question my way.

"Well, I guess a little because it's the middle of the night in some forest but... I honestly don't care. Nothing has happened to me yet but I wouldn't be surprised if something did." Without warning, the man grabbed my arms. He stayed silent for a second, I could hear the wind blowing the trees around us. "Wha- um..." I hesitated in speaking. The man leaned closer to me.

"If I May ask, what's your name? You can call me..." He hesitated. "You can call me Jeff... Jeff The Killer." I widened my eyes in surprise and intrigue when the man, now named Jeff The Killer, pulled his mask down to reveal the cut-outsmile on his face.

'THE Jeff The Killer?!' I screamed in my mind, in disbelief. Now this was interesting.

Jeff chuckled. "You know me, huh?"

"Know you? Of course, I know you! You're one of the most amazing serial killers I know. I know so much about you, the way you kill your victims, your infamous catchphrase." I exclaimed in unstable excitement. "Your work is amazing..." I whispered to myself, though due to the closeness of us both, he heard me. Jeff looked surprised at my outburst of... intrigue, excitement? "But, why haven't you killed me yet then? You're Jeff The Killer. You don't usually talk to your victims before killing them and it's usually people who are sleeping...?" I asked, confused.

"Maybe you're lucky. You know my name and what I do. Maybe you'll be useful." He responds in a calm tone.

"Useful how?" I asked. Rather than answering my question, he instead responded with.

"You're lucky... I like you." He suddenly leaned even closer to my face, close enough that I could feel his breath against my nose. "I like that you aren't scared of me, most people would be. I've killed lots of people, you know?"
