Part 2: Birthday Surprise

Joong's POV:

It was the next morning. I was at the GMMTV building with Pond (Dunk's best friend) but also my close friend. We were rehearsing for our new music video 'Charm' with LYKN.

I wanted to ask him about the TikTok they filmed and about him kissing Dunk's cheek. But what right do I have? I mean, I was fine with dunk kissing Pond's cheek as it was his birthday that time, but now it was different.

Pond: "Ok, what is it?" He asked, looking at me.

Joong: "What? It's nothing."

Pond: "Oh please. I noticed you staring at me for the past 10 minutes. What's up?"

Joong: "It's really nothing."

Pond signed and turned back to continue practicing the steps. Joong also got up and joined him.

Dunk's POV:

I was on set of 'Summer Nights' my new series with phuwin. We just finished shooting some lines and are taking a small break.

Dunk: "Phu, do you know what I should get for joong for his birthday."

Phuwin: "You haven't got the gift yet?"

I shaked my head.

Phuwin: "Wow! I expect this behavior from me but never you." He said as chuckles.

Dunk: "Would you stop teasing me and give me some ideas. Please na." I said, pouting.

I felt like an idiot when doing this, but it would usually work on joong. I'm hoping it does the same with phuwin.

Phuwin: "Yeah, yeah, sure, whatever. Just put those lips away."

Dunk: "Thanks, phu. I can kiss you right now." I said, leaning towards him

Phuwin: "Please don't." He said, stopping me.

I wasn't actually gonna. But I really enjoyed teasinging phuwin.

We went through some ideas and finally came to a conclusion.

Phuwin: "So out of all the ideas I gave you. You decide to buy a watch."

I nodded.

Dunk: "Not just any watch. A Gucci watch. Like the one he bought for my birthday."

Phuwin: "Why?" He asked, confused.

Dunk: "So we can match."

Phuwin nodded and smiled. I could tell it was a teasing smile. So I just chose to ignore it.

A week later

We were in Hong Kong. Just finished our fanmeet and celebrated joong's birthday with our fans. The thing was I arranged a tiny cake and decided to go surprise him it while giving my gift. I wanted to give it earlier, but we had no time.

I went over to his door and knocked. Por Jack (our manager) was recording the moment. After a while, joong opened the door. His hair all frizzled, and he was shirtless. I don't know why I felt possessive at that moment, but I chose to ignore it and continue singing happy birthday. He made a wish as he blew out the candle. I soon gave him my gift. He could tell from the box what it was.

Joong: "Is it?" He asked, curious. His eyes shining like a puppy.

Dunk: "Open it and check for yourself."

He opened it and admired the watch. As if he had never seen a watch before.

Dunk: "I have time for you now." I whispered.
