--Ella's POV--
"Can you stop looking like an idiot?" I ask as Lando hangs upside down on the couch as I try to get pictures of him. Oscar was easy because he didn't try and make my life a living hell. The guys have already finished practice and they have Qualifying tomorrow. McLaren is looking strong this year but Max is kicking everyone's ass. Lando wasn't exactly happy about how I looked when he looked so good on the track.
Lando is still laughing as I go to my computer and start editing the photos of Oscar. It doesn't take much because the guys are both photogenic but the lighting in here is absolutely terrible. Lando's hand rests beside me as he leans forward looking over my shoulder, "You should try and convince Oscar to change his hair. I swear it does the same thing every day...the swoosh," he says as I shake my head and lean back. My head brushes against his chest as he stays where he is wanting to see the pictures.
"I'm trying to make a good first impression for this race and I need you to try and look good. I know it might be hard for you but I promise I can make you at least half as handsome as Oz," I tell him as he scoffs trying to cover the laugh he let out on accident. I grab my camera again and tell him to get against the wall. His eyebrows wiggle as he smirks making me want to shove him against the wall but not in the way he thinks. The door opens behind us as I'm showing Lando a pose to do.
"How's it going on your first weekend?" a man asks sending a smile right to my face. Max is standing at the door in his normal clothes now that all the guys have showered after practice. His torso is always clad in a Red Bull jacket and a matching pair of pants. It's the ugliest outfit known to man but he makes it look so good.
Lando sighs as I ignore him and give Max my full attention trying to hide the blush creeping on my face, "It's been very hectic but I'm happy you stopped by. Maybe I can sneak some photos of you before you guys get pulled away for interviews," I smile as we both slowly walk toward each other.
"I don't want to get you in trouble," he whispers as he stops in front of me. His eyes take in every part of my face making my cheeks get even brighter. There is something about his eyes that make me never want to look away. They are almost addicting if that's even possible.
"I talked with McLaren when I was signing my contract and I'm allowed to start an Instagram account where I can post all the photos of the guys they don't want. I can also take pictures of anything else I want while I'm working. I think the fangirls will thank me if I get some of you in there," I tell him as his hand grazes my waist as I hold the camera between our chests.
"For the fangirls?" he asks with an amused smile on his face. The corners of his mouth are turned down a little as I bite my lip with a smile.
"Maybe I just want an excuse to hang out with you during these long weekends," I shrug,
"Then I definitely like the sound of that," he says as Lando loudly clears his throat from behind us. I drop my head down before turning around and seeing him tapping the imaginary watch on his wrist. I turn back to Max and he leans close to my ear, "Text me your room number and I can bring dinner," he whispers. When he pulls away I smile and watch him walk out only for Lando to sigh loudly again.
"You are a child," I tell him as I walk over to point my camera back at him. He does the pose I had him in originally as I hold the camera up. I smile as he finally starts loosening up with some of the other things he's doing. It's one of the best things for the photographer when the model relaxes. Oscar is the hardest to break...I have to figure out how to get him not to fear the camera. I want to show Lando some of the photos but his media manager is pulling him away before I can. This gives me time to edit and send the photos to the guy's media team. I met them yesterday and they are all really nice. The most important part of my job is sending them everything I take by the end of the day after editing the photos. It makes every day a little stressful so I don't make their lives harder but this is the best job I could have asked for.
