--Ella's POV--

Kelsey spins around in her dress and I dramatically fall onto the couch like I've fainted, "I'm so excited to go to a club that isn't owned by Angelo," she says putting her earrings in. She's going to continue to ignore the elephant in the room. She and Oscar have been texting since the bowling night and she hasn't told me much about it. I'm rooting for them. The only people who know about Lando and I are Peter and Kelsey. They aren't connected to the racing world but I'm worried she might slip up and tell Oscar.

I ordered a car to pick us up in a couple of minutes so I have just enough time to fix my makeup. Kelsey is standing behind me as I put more lip gloss on, "You look amazing. I'm starting to wish my name was Oscar and I was from Australia," I tease making her blush.

"He's pretty great isn't he?" she smiles. I back away a little and pull my phone out to take a photo feeling more put together than usual. I pull down my dress a little and adjust the blazer over top of it before grabbing my keys. She links her arm with mine and pulls out a flask from her jacket as we get into the elevator. She hands it to me as I text Lando we are on our way. It's a big night for the guys to hang out and Charles invited me. I was surprised he texted me to come and was even more surprised he asked me first before Lando. When we get in the car I see her phone wallpaper is her and Oscar and smile to myself.

The club is packed tonight and we are struggling to push through the crowd. I see a familiar face right as she finds Oscar. We split ways and I smile when Max holds up his drink, "Long time no see, Shrimpy," He says making me drop my head.

"Congratulations on your race win," I tell him as I lean on the bar to get a drink, "How much would I have to pay you to let Oscar pass you in Australia?" I ask as he laughs.

"I'll defend everyone behind him...but it would cost you a dance," He says as the bartender walks over. He orders my usual drink and tells him to put it on his tab. I tell him I'll pay for my own drinks but he insists. When the bartender puts the drink on the counter I quickly down it before putting my hand in his. Max pushes through the crowd until we are on the dance floor. He spins me around and I put my hands on his chest to stop me when he spins me back. I throw my head back laughing as he moves his head to the music, "You look beautiful tonight, where's Lando?" he whispers in my ear.

"You were the first person I saw tonight and you just had to dance with me," I tease as he nods his head. We both scream as the next song plays and start jumping to the beat. The entire dance floor is squished together making it hard not to be pressed against him. His hands are in the air as I run my hands through my hair. I turn around and make eye contact with Lando across the club leaning against a pillar as he talks with Charles and Carlos. We can't act like a couple in front of people and that's the hardest part about this. I just want to run up and kiss him. The look in his eyes as he watches where Max puts his hand on my arm sends a chill down my spine. My lips part as he sits on his drink keeping his eyes on me.

"I'm going to grab another drink," I shout to him as he nods his head. I push through the crowd struggling again but then I see Peter standing at the bar. I giggle as he reaches out and pulls me into a hug, "I was wondering when you'd show up," I tell him.

"I was busy watching you dance with someone who isn't Lando. Is this some weird sex thing where you try to make him jealous?" He asks as I give him a weirded-out look.

"There was nothing to be jealous of. We are friends who may have slept together but so have we. It's not that big of a deal. If Lando has a problem with it he will talk to me," I assure him as I glance over seeing Lando turned towards Carlos.

"Dangerous waters," He mumbles as he hands me a shot, "But I'm here for it. You're normally boring," He says as I gasp and punch his shoulder.

"I am not boring," I state standing my ground. He rubs his arm and punches me back as I go to push him again. Kelsey comes over and grabs the shot Peter was about to take and runs off with it. He scoffs and goes after her leaving me giggling with my own shot. I drink it quickly closing my eyes.

I can smell his cologne as he puts his hand on the small of my back, "I'd think you were messing with me if I didn't know you so well," he whispers brushing his lips below my ear. I lean into his touch before realizing we could be seen. I turn around and he puts his hand on the bar behind me cornering me in, "do I get a dance or is Max just lucky?" he asks.

"I don't know...maybe Max is just lucky," I tell him as he bites his lip through a laugh.

"You're going to be the death of me Wings," He whispers as I lead him back to where everyone is dancing. I tell him to stay where he is and run over to Charles and Carlos where they are sat at a table.

"Do you mind if I leave this here?" I ask pointing to my jacket. Charles grabs it from me and smiles as I thank him and run off. He grabs my hand and pulls me into him laughing as he holds me against him, "You should wear this shirt more often," I whisper in his ear as he links his fingers with mine. Every time I'm near him it's like my body is magnitized to him. It's embarrassing how much he affects me. The slight quirk in his smile makes my heart do backflips. The lights in the club darken. The shadows on his face are dark red as he pulls me closer. His nose brushes against mine, our lips brushing together. I pull on his hair making him let out a guttural sigh as we have to fight moving closer, "I need you," he whispers making my eyes flutter closed.

The next thing I know he's pushing me into the bathroom in the back of the club. He locks the door and pushes me against the wall trailing wet kisses down my neck. I gasp as his hand grazes my body and rests high on my torso. His thumb trails under my chest making my back arch. His touch is intoxicating. His fingers on his other hand are toying with the hem of my dress that lands halfway down my thigh. My fingers fumble with the buttons on his shirt but he grabs my hand and tells me to stop. He backs away and puts his hands on the back of his head as I pull my dress down. I look at the floor and feel my heart pounding in my chest as he turns back to me.

"We can't," He whispers sending a knife through my heart. He rushes back to my side and cups my face making me look into his eyes, "You're too special to waste our first time together in a club bathroom. You deserve better than this," he says. I look at him through my eyelashes as he leans forward placing kisses on my forehead and cheeks, "Believe me I want to...I just know we would regret it," he says as I laugh knowing he's right.

I pull him in closer smiling into the kiss as we both start laughing ridiculous laughs, "We should probably get back out before people start suspecting," I mumble against his lips.

"We can probably squeeze out a couple more minutes," he says.
