Posiden's confession

In the morning at around 5am, Apollo shoots up out of bed after remembering they still have to get Poseidon's kids to camp. He gives Luca a kiss on the cheek before getting up and leaving to wake Artemis up. After waking up Artemis and getting slapped for being awake so early, they start discussing how they'll find Poseidon's kids. After three hours of discussing, they both are so focused they don't realize that Luca had woken up along with Persephone. Luca hugs Apollo from behind and tiredly rests his head on his shoulder while Persephone rests her head on Artemis's shoulder. The two then come out of their trance and look over to see Luca and Persephone hugging them. Apollo leads his tired lover around him and has him sit on his lap so Luca could rest a little more. Artemis does the same and the two rest while Apollo and Artemis continue talking about the problem at hand. Not too long after, the two fall asleep in their second halves laps. Around an hour later, the kids had woken up and got dressed before heading to the cafeteria where the four were talking and sleeping. Artemis and Apollo pause their conversation to tell the kids that breakfast is already made and they can go eat. The kids did as they were told and ate breakfast. Apollo wakes up Luca and tells him it's time to eat. Luca nodes his head and rubs his eyes, he then gets up off Apollo's lap and eats with the kids. Artemis does the same and Persephone wakes up, rubs her eyes and eats with Luca and the kids. Artemis and Apollo get up and eat as well but after eating, they continue discussing the problem and come up with a solution and a plan after half an hour, not counting the hours before eating. Apollo tells the plan to Luca and Artemis tells the plan to Persephone. After everyone understood, they told the kids. Apollo told Angelia and Mayven they were in charge of the others and to make sure nobody leaves camp. Angelia and Mayven nodded their heads in understatement and the four go pack their things for the journey. After packing, they headed to where the kids were. Luca tells Zagrous to behave and listen to Angelia and Mayven. Zagrous, with a pouty face, said fine and crossed his arms. Luca smiled and told the twins the same thing. The twins however, had a better reaction and said ok with a happy and understanding attitude. Luca smiled at them as well and let Persephone say goodbye to her kids. Persephone hugged all three of them and told them to behave and that she loves them. The kids told her they loved her too and to be safe. Persephone smiled and stepped back to Artemis and hugged her, Artemis hugged Persephone back and smiled. Apollo told Angelia and Mayven to behave and be responsible with their powers and only to use their powers if absolutely necessary. Angelia and Mayven nodded their heads and said they would. Apollo smiled and hugged them, Luca told them to be careful if it comes to using their powers, and that the others can use their swords including the twins. Angelia nodded and told them to be careful. Artemis said they will and that Angelia should be on high alert in case something happens. Mayven butted into the conversation and said they'll both keep an eye out. Artemis nodded and after they all said their goodbyes, the four set off to Atlantis. With a couple trips to nearby villages and a few pit stops to sleep, they finally made it to Atlantis within only a few days. Luca, tired of walking and happy they made it, hugged Apollo to rest his head a little bit. Apollo looked down a little and smiled at him, he then hugged Luca back and told him he'll have to stay where they are for now since he can't go under water. Luca nodded and asked if Persephone was going to stay with him. Apollo said she will and that she can't go under water either due to her technically still being the queen of hell. Luca nodded and let go of Apollo to set his stuff down. After setting everything down, Apollo and Artemis walk underwater to atlantis. Persephone told Luca they should set up camp since it'll get dark soon. Luca nodded his head and started setting up his and Apollos tent. Persephone did the same and set hers and Artemis's stuff inside their tent. After doing so, they rest and eat some bread. With Apollo and Artemis, they finally made it to Atlantis's gates and told the Guards they're Poseidon's niece and nephew. The guards open the gates for them and they head inside to the castle where Poseidon and his children should be. They head into the throne room and notice Poseidon just sitting there with his trident broken in half. Apollo and Artemis walk up to him and bow, they then ask what happened. Poseidon looks at them and says Zeus has gone rogue. Apollo and Artemis's eyes widen, they ask what he meant. Poseidon said Zeus has gone insane, he tried killing him and his kids. Apollo looks at Artemis and Artemis does the same. They ask Poseidon if he had already known. Poseidon takes a while to answer but he eventually nods his head and says he was the one to take Zeus from heaven but it was for a good reason. Apollo asks, in a slightly angry tone, why it was for a good reason. Poseidon says it was for everyone's safety and that Zeus was planning to bring destruction to earth. Artemis's eyes widened along with Apollo's. Artemis asks Posiden why Zeus would do that. Poseidon says that the humans were apparently getting too powerful and that Zeus wanted to destroy them. Apollo says they have to stop him. Artemis agrees and they then ask Posiden where his kids are. Poseidon says his kids are safe, and that they are in the castle's safe room. Just then, a thirteen year old looking kid swims out from one of the halls and calls out to Posiden with the words dad. Apollo and Artemis look over to the kid and recognize him as Triton. Poseidon holds his arms out as Triton swims up to him and hugs him. As the two hug each other, another kid who looks around 16 years old, walks out from the same hallway. Poseidon notices the kid and holds out his other arm, only hugging Triton with one arm. The kid walks up to him and hugs him. Apollo and Artemis recognize this kid as Benthesikyme and smile at the family. After a few minutes, they let go of each other and Posiden tells his kids they're going to be leaving with their cousins Apollo and Artemis. They kids look at Apollo and Artemis, who have a smile on their faces, and walk up to them after saying goodbye to Posiden. Apollo tells them they have to get going. They kid nod their heads and they all leave the castle and make it to the surface. Apollo tells Triton to transform into his human form and Triton does so. After Triton had legs, they walked up to the camp Luca and Artemis had set up. Luca got up from his seat and hugged Apollo tightly. Apollo smiled and hugged him back. Artemis told the kids to sit down and they'll leave in the morning. The kids sit down near the campfire and Persephone gets up to hug Artemis. Artemis hugs her back and after a few seconds, they let go of each other with a slight pink tint to their cheeks. Apollo and Luca cuddle for a little while standing and after letting go of eachother, Apollo and Artemis decide to tell Luca and Persephone what they had just found out. Artemis starts off with saying they know who took Zeus from heaven. Luca asks who and Apollo says Poseidon. Artemis says Posiden did it to protect earth and other gods. Apollo says it's because Zeus has gone insane. Persephone says they need to get back to the camp and check on the kids. Luca agrees with Persephone and Apollo says they'll leave in the morning. Persephone says her village is closest to the camp and she can just teleport them there. Artemis says she could but that would render her useless since it would take up a lot of power and energy. Persephone says she's willing to do it and Artemis finally gives in and lets her. After they pack their stuff again, and put out the fire, Persephone teleports them all to her village and collapses. Artemis catches her and picks her up bridal style, so she could carry her the rest of the way to the village. Triton asks his sister where they're going and Benthesikyme says she assumes they're going to camp full-blood. Triton nods his head and continues waking. Once they all arrive, they check all around the camp for the kids and they find them all sleeping in the Hades cabin. They all let out a sigh of relief and leave the Hades cabin. Apollo takes the Poseidon children to their cabin and Artemis takes Persephone to hers so she could rest. After the Poseidon kid settled in and went to bed, Apollo and Luca went to the Zeus cabin and went to bed worried Zeus may show up. Artemis goes to bed on the ground with a pillow and blanket so Persephone could get her full rest without being disrupted by her. With that, they all fell asleep with distrust of Zeus. The camp's barrier could sence this distrust and altered itself to only let in Gods, humans, and other living and talking beings who are trusted by most or all the people living within the camp.

A/N: There were 1666 words in the chapter😭. I honestly was hoping that I could write more but I was trying to stick to 4 pages on a doc without paragraphs-
