The Traumatizing Truth

Around 6am, the children had all woken up. Angelia and Mayven made breakfast and greeted their sea-like cousins as well as introducing the twins and their brother to them too. Soon enough, Luca had woken up before the rest and went to the cafeteria to see if the children were awake and to grab something to eat. Upon arrival, he saw that all the children were awake and to his surprise, breakfast was already made and they all were eating. Angelia got up to greet him and she accidentally called him big brother inlaw. This made Luca blush from embarrassment and the thought of being married to Apollo made him blush even more. Angelia laughed a little and told him to eat something. Luca, with a slight tint of blush on his cheeks, sat down after grabbing some breakfast and ate. Mayven on the other hand was dying of laughter after Angelia told her what happened. After Mayven had calmed down and everyone had eaten, Apollo and Artemis finally had woken up and joined everyone in the cafeteria. They both ate and Luca asked Apollo what they'll be doing that day. Apollo said they would give his cousins a tour of the camp and then they should start planning on how to take Zeus down. Luca nodded his head before sitting down next to Apollo and resting his head on his shoulder. Apollo smiled at Luca and continued eating his breakfast. Angelia and Mayven overheard their conversation and their smiles fell. Angelia walked up to the pair and asked what they meant by taking Zeus down. Apollo's smile faded and said that Zeus(their father) was trying to destroy all humans due to their technological advances. Angelia said, with tears forming in her eyes, that he would never and that Apollo was lying. Artemis walked over and hugged Angelia to comfort her but Angelia pushed her away. Artemis, a little hurt, stepped back in understandment of her anger and sadness. Luca stood up and walked up to Angelia with sadness and pure understandment in his eyes. He smiled at her softly and opened his arms, gesturing to Angelia that she can hug him whenever she wants. Angelia ended up hurriedly hugging him, tears streaming down her face as she sobbed into his shoulder. Luca hugged her back tightly as well as gently as he rubbed her back in circles while humming a soothing lullaby. Apollo and Artemis watched in amazement, Maycen however was also holding back tears as she too, hates the idea of her father(adopted) being an evil man. Luca noticed and opened the hug for Mayven to join. Mayven joined the hug and sobbed into his chest as Angelia sobbed into his shoulder. After a while of calming the two down, they let go of Luca and wiped their faces. Apollo then walked up to Luca and asked how he did that. Luca said it's because he went through the same thing as a child and that the lullaby was something his mother sang to him when he was upset. Apollo nodded and hugged Luca before giving him a small kiss on his forehead. Angelia and Mayven then went to their cabin to rest a little before tackling the problem at hand. Artemis thanked Luca for calming them down and left to wake Persephone up. After waking Persephone up and taking her to the cafeteria, she ate and they started discussing what they'll do about Zeus. Luca and Persephone on the other hand, gave Triton and Benthesikyme a tour around the camp along with the swimming areas, like the river leading to a lake. While Persephone was telling Triton that he could go back to his original form whenever he wanted while in the lake, Luca grabbed her shoulder and grasped his chest. Persephone instantly asked what was wrong in a concerned tone. Luca, with tears starting to form in his eyes, said it was really hard for him to breathe and that he's having a panic attack. Persephone asked if there was anything she could do and Luca, stuttering over his words while trying to catch his breath, tells her that he needs her to hug him tightly. Persephone does what he told her to and hugged him tightly. Luca, starting to relax a little, hugged her back. Persephone started to rub his back in circles to help him calm down. Triton, shocked and concerned, stood there waiting for Luca to calm down. After around 10-15 minutes, Luca finally calmed down enough to talk and breathe correctly, though his heart was still beating faster than normal. Persephone asked if he needed to sit down and Luca shook his head no. Triton, finally breaking his silence, asked what just happened. Luca looked at him with kindness and slight panic in his eyes and said it was a Panic Attack. Triton asked what a Panic Attack was. Luca said it's when your heart starts beating really fast, it gets hard to breathe, and you're panicking. Triton asked what can cause it and Luca said Anxiety and stress. Persephone asked why he had it and Luca said it just happens randomly for him. Persephone asked what it was called and Luca said that he calls it Panic Anxiety Disorder. Persephone nodded her head and they continued on with the tour. After making it back to camp, Luca decided he needed to rest and so he layed in Apollos' lap for comfort to be able to rest. Apollo let him without question after seeing the worry and concern in Persephones' eyes. Apollo and Artemis continued discussing what they'll do about Zeus but hasn't come up with anything just yet. The twins and their brother, minding their own business and practicing their sword fighting on the hill, didn't know what had happened. Triton and his sister decided they would go to the Lake and swim around for a while before dinner. Persephone sat next to Artemis and rested her head on her shoulder before listening to what Artemis and Apollo had come up with. A few hours later, the Hades kids make their way down the training hill and head to the cafeteria. The Poseidon kids left the Lake and dried off before heading to the cafeteria. Lasty the Zeus kids left their cabin after resting and also headed to the cafeteria. Artemis and Persephone made dinner and Apollo got both his and Luca's plates and sat down. The children all got their food and ate at separate tables. Angelia and Mayven both sat at the farthest table from Apollo and Artemis due to what happened that morning. After everyone ate, Apollo carried Luca bridal style to their cabin and went to bed. Artemis and Persephone went to their cabin as well and talked about what happened to Luca during the tour before heading to bed. The children all went to their designated cabins after talking about what happened that day. All still weary and tired, unaware about what might just happen the next day.
