After the 45 minutes that felt like forever, Alyssa and her family finally arrived at their house. She was in her room trying to decide what to wear, while on the phone with her best friend.
"Do you think I should go more sexy or casual?" Alyssa said setting her phone up to face towards her closet.
"Well were planning on going down to the beach tonight, so pick a cute swimsuit, something that'll get JJ's attention" Sarah smirked as she sat at her vanity putting on a bit of makeup.
Alyssa smiled and skipped over to her closet, looking through her swimsuits. "Pink or black?"
"Hmm" Sarah said as she pressed her lips together and put her finger against them. "Go black."
Alyssa grabbed her favorite black bikini and layed it on her bed with a pair of denim shorts.
Sarah smiled as she put on a bit of blush "Your gonna look hot and JJ is gonna go crazy"
Alyssa arrived at the Camerons and she got out of her car. The sun was setting, and she heard laughing and music coming from the backyard, so she assumed everyone was out back, unless Rafe had some of his friends over. She rolled her eyes just at the thought of him as she opened her backdoor to grab her towel and her sunglasses. She closed her door and locked her car as Rafe pulled into the driveway on his bike. 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵. She thought about what Noah had said to her, but she couldnt be rude and just ignore him, right?
He turned his bike off and took off his helmet.
"Couldnt you just stay in Florida?" Rafe said getting off his bike.
She rolled her eyes "Trust me, if I could have stayed there I would as long as it kept me from seeing you."
He put his tongue against his cheek and looked at her "Hm" then walked inside.
'𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘦.' She thought as she shook her head from the interaction and walked around the back of the house to the backyard. She let herself in the fence as Sarah ran towards her.
"Hey, Rodriguez is here!" Kiara shouted and jumped up as she set her drink down on a table.
Alyssa opened her arms and hugged her Sarah tight. She didnt realize how much she really missed her and her friends until now. Her eyes met JJ just as he looked up from her chest. She blushed a little but played it cool.
"I missed you so much" Sarah said and hugged her again
"I missed you too Sar" Alyssa said as Pope jokingly pushed Sarah away and hugged Alyssa, and she hugged him back.
"Alright enough of this mushy shit, whats the plan for tonight" Kiara said as everyone sat down at the outdoor bar area.
"Well John B had some fishing thing today, he should be here soon, but I was thinking we all go to the beach party tonight" Sarah said biting her bottom lip with a smile as she looked around at everyone.
"Isnt there a Kook party there tonight?" Alyssa said as JJ leaned against the bar next to her and she tried her best to ignore him.
Sarah shrugged and smiled "So what? What are they gonna do, kick us out of a public beach? Besides, they're having the party on your side of the island anyways."
"I say we crash it" Kiara said clinking her bottle of beer with Sarah's as they both took a swig.
"Im down" Pope and Alyssa said at the same time as they looked at each other and smiled.
JJ handed Alyssa a beer, "To crashing the Kook party" Pope said as they all clinked their glasses together. Tonight was about to be fun.
