The night was dark, with clouds covering the skies it was only the streetlights of the neighborhood that was lighting up the way.

There's a pair walking through said neighborhood. A man with fiery red hair who looked vaguely South East Asian.

At his back was a lady slightly shorter than him. Her blonde hair and red eyes signify her foreign beauty, her clothes contrasts the man's conservative clergic clothes. Hers was freer and shows more skin, with a biker jacket layered atop a tube.

The odd pair trudged upon the roads of the local alleys. It seems that the young man was looking for something. Much to his companion's irritation.

"Shirou." Gilgamesh called with her stern voice. "Are these trivialities really necessary? Thriftiness is the virtue reserved to the poor, and I am no such person. I highly suggest we search for better quarters posthaste, anything other than this... dump." She spoke condescendingly, with a mocking stare at the houses surrounding them.

The priest shook his head. "Gil. We've talked about this. We'd be too detectable that way, going on hotels leaves records. And erasing it would just take time away from the mission." He answered concisely. "Besides, after this we'd be free to do whatever we want while waiting for the next mission. We'll stay at a hotel after I send my report."

The ancient queen stared at him for a few seconds, before breaking into sigh. "If it was not you, I would have severed your head for even implying that I would sleep in such filth for longer. Be as it may, I shall indulge you just this once." Gil surrendered, rather quickly at that.

Shirou on the other hand, while hesitant, just nods in relief. Gilgamesh's mind was sometimes unpredictable. There were times where she'd grow bored and retract decisions on the fly. But for now, what Shirou said was enough to assure her.

As they stopped talking. Shirou notices their current location. His eyes were scanning the surroundings. 'A small concrete house with moss all over it, graffiti of a vaguely drawn pigeon on the left side of the wall. Yes, this is the place.' He looked at his back to see Gil, who was still looking upset.

The young man just ignored it and proceeded to use a key to enter the house.

Once there, Shirou unpacked his equipment from his bag. Gil on the other hand, beelined to the nearest couch and proceeded to lay down, taking all of the space.

"It is... more passable than expected." She commented, albeit with clear hesitance. The room was neat and clean, its white walls were contrasting the dirty exterior of the house.

There was a couch and a single-person bed. There were electricity too, with electric outlets in each corner of the room. At one corner was what she identified as a router as the grail has taught her. Tables, chairs, a kitchen, a refrigerator, it was all there. It was livable.

"The church prepared this quarters a week prior, they predicted that this operation would take longer depending on my approach." Shirou answered, eliciting a negative reaction from Gil at the mention of an operation length. "Anyways, I have my ways of shortening the time, the church does not seem to know that."

This made Gilgamesh raise a brow, now this is getting interesting. "Ho? Is that so? Pray tell, how does my precious consort plan to shorten his time here?" For her, this was an opportunity to gain some entertainment, and Shirou recognizes that. This might keep her in line for the time being.

Just then, she noticed the laptop on Shirou's desk. Shirou moved his mouse and the contents of the screen changed.

Suddenly, a new voice spoke up, coming from the device.
