"Just like that" Reah moaned out as she pushed the girl's head further between her legs. After the strenuous and stressful sit down she had with the unbearably difficult John and the impressionably naive Victoria, she was in desperate need of a release.

While Reah did usually enjoy her time with Victoria (despite the woman's close proximity to John), having to deal with the nuisance that was John Gaines on a regular basis was a completely different thing. A thing she avoided as much as possible when she could. Especially, since the man seemed to be the main source of all her bad days. He was the one constant, lingering pain in her ass since the ripe rage of 5 and him, 8.

It was hate at first sight.

"This is the fifth time you guys have fought this week and it's only the third day of school!!" The teacher scolded, observing the two small, tattered children. Little Reah's arms were crossed tightly in anger as she pouted, her busted lip as notable as the tears that streaked her dirt covered face. "She started it!" shouted an angry Little John as he momentarily moved the ice from his face, his mouth now one toothless than he had arrived.

John - 16 & Reah - 13

Once again seated far apart in the same office they had come to know a little too well, the two teens sat in silence their anger still bubbling under the surface, awaiting one wrong word or move. A shallow cut adorned Reah's bruising cheek as both her and John were handed a sack of frozen peas. John placed the cold compress onto his blackening eye with a quiet thank you.

"When are you two ever going to stop fighting?" The two teens momentarily glanced towards one another before scoffing. "When I'm dead." John grumbled. "That can be arranged" glared the girl.

John - 24 & Reah - 21

Red and blue police lights flashed across the faces of the two college students and the various witnesses who murmured in stunned disbelief at the turn of events they had witnessed. "One of you wanna explain what happened in there?" An officer asked John and Reah. Both remained silent, their eyes averted and avoidant as Reah held her fractured hand to her chest and the bleeding gash in John's side was bandaged up. "Well?!" The frustrated and irritated officer pressed. "It was just a disagreement." Reah shrugged. The officer scoffed. "Yeah, that's real believable, kid."

It only took one newsworthy incident outside the police station between the Gaines family and the Royales for people to finally understand how deep the hate ran. Not just for these two but generationally. The televised event quickly put an end to the 'fighting their feelings' theory their primary school teachers held, along with any notions for peace between the two (not that there were any). The last thing anyone had expected was a no holds brawl to break out while attempting to get the two college students released. Now everyone understood that this was a pure, unbridled family rivalry.
