"What if you made him dinner and then you know gave him a little something something for dessert" Reah nudged with a suggestive wiggle of her brows "and right as he falls asleep? Whisper it to him." Victoria rubbed tired circles on her temples at the 7th awful idea Reah had spewed since they got in the car. "Can you please shut. up." Victoria begged through gritted teeth. She didn't know where this sudden rise of energy had come from but she did know she would rather the overexerted woman be angry than this annoying.

The little patience she had held on to during the meeting seemed like a distant, fleeting memory, now completely out the window. And while Victoria was all for a solution-based approach, Reah had only seemed to be blurting out idiotic nonsense.

"At least I'm trying to come up with solutions. You've literally said nothing since we left." Reah irritably ranted with a roll of her eyes. She wasn't wrong but unlike the frantic, tantrum-throwing twenty something sitting beside her, Victoria had taken time to fully digest the turn of events and was barely hanging onto the last bit of level-headedness that seemed destined to snap with the way Reah was driving her up the wall.

"You don't think I'm just as panicked and stressed out as you?!" Victoria exclaimed her voice pitching in anguish. "No, not really" Reah rebutted with notable attitude and a scoff. "HA!" Victoria laughed dryly. Her head fell back appalled by both the audacity and ridiculousness of her accusation. "If anything I'm more worried than you. You have to deal with him for a moment but I live with him. I have a child with him. If anyone should be distressed and worried and panicked then it should be me!! What was I thinking! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" She continued to exclaim, her palm hitting her forehead with each word as that last bit of said rational finally snapped.

"Whoa!" Reah mumbled, hastily signaling and pulling the car over. Without a second thought she unbuckled and swiftly grasped both of the woman's wrists to stop her from the self-assault. "Hey, hey, hey! Stop that." She gently but adamantly demanded. Victoria sniffled as tears fell. Reah freed up one of her hands to wipe away the crying woman's tears as said woman gazed remorsefully at her.  "What am I going to do?" She croaked out quietly.

"It's going to be fine, Victoria. Everything's going to be fine. We are going to figure this out." Reah continued to reassure. Their eyes held each others, Reah's determined and Victoria's nervous and riddled with questions. A wordless conversation passed between the two women as Reah caressed her cheek while Victoria attempted to level her breathing. "We'll figure this out somehow and I'll handle John for you if I need to." Reah continued, her brows furrowed with resolve. "P-promise?" Her voice cracked a bit as her watery does eyes continued to bore into Reah, holding her captive. "I promise."

Victoria's eyes remained unwavering. "You sure cause you said that last time and you haven't been really good at this." She lightly teased through her small staggers of breath, her know-it-all tone causing Reah to chuckle and playfully roll her eyes. "Yes, yes, I promise. I'll make it up to you" she said her voice growing softer as she watched the last few tears slide from the gorgeous woman's eyes. Reah frowned at the sight of them as Victoria sniffled the rest away. "So don't cry. I hate to see you cry." She softly admitted patting away her tear streaks. "O-k" Victoria breathed.
