The woods were dark and cold that night. The night a little meif'wa got lost. Adrenaline ran through there lungs as their breathing quickened along with there heart rate. Dried and stiff tears streaks stuck on their cheeks from sobbing.

They glanced around, checking their surroundings over and over again, every slight sound making them jump. Their F/C ears flopping down beside their head, their tail tucked in between there legs. The rain puttering down and soaking their clothes, pulling their hood down more and looking down at the mud and puddles that littered the forest floors.

Meanwhile, in that same forest, a werewolf was running for his life. The distance sounds of snarling and growling coming from behind, chasing him down. He was running from his problems, once again, or, to his next problem now. As the rain poured down more, he wished to not see the Meif'wa that got him in this mess, while the Meif'wa wished the opposite.

Heavy and quicker breaths escaped the werewolves lips, water splashing under his feet when he heard something through the trees. The Meif'wa froze once they looked up and saw a figure in the dark. As the two got closer to each other, their hearts fluttered in sync, but both for different reasons.

The feline ran closer to the figure while the cainie used his ears to find his way to them. They both stopped, perfect distance from each other so they wouldn't crash. Their eyes met in a familiar gaze.

"Ein?..."
"[Y/n] I-"

A howl came from behind Ein, making his ears twitch and turn to the sound, while [Y/n] looked past him in shock. He turned back to them, his ears falling back, a serious and worried look on his face. The meif'wa was about to speak, but was Inturpted abruptly by Ein scooping them up in his arms and running off with them.

[Y/n] tightend their legs around him instinctively, wrapping their whole body around his torso and burrying their face into his shoulder, not daring to look up from it in fear of seening something they wouldn't like.

They ran for what felt like forever, untill Ein hulted to a stop when they neared a bridge. He panted, trying to catch his breath as he pondered what to do. This bridge they were at, leaded outside of the forest, well, there side of the forest atleast and lead to the humans side. Humans and the creatures of the forest came to a truce, never cross the border.

As the distance sounds of wolfs got closer, their ramped running, the sound of their snarling and growling mixing in with the rain. Ein panted, looking back and forth between the other side of the forest and the wolves, if they stayed here, they'd surely be killed, but there was no guaranteed that they'd be safe with the humans either.

"Ein,"

[Y/n] spoke up, breaking the broken silence and snapping Ein out of his gaze.

"We can't stay here..."

"But... the humans, what if-"

His words were Inturpeted by [Y/n]'s lips against his, making him hun softly and relax into the sweet kiss. As they pulled away, the meif'wa stepped out of his arms and back to the floor, holding his hand and encouraging him forward.

Ein looked down at them, his eyes wide and slightly saddened, he didn't want to leave, this was his home but, he knew neither of them were welcomed here anymore. With a small nod he began to walk with them, crossing the bridge. A howl followed by loud barking came from behind them, the wolves shaming them for their love.

But they continued on untill their boots met the fresh grass once more, they both stood their, taking a breath of relief and taking it all in. Ein looked down fondly at his love and as [Y/n] noticed this, they reciprocated, looking back up at him and smiling softly. After their small look, Ein grinned and laughed happily, his tail wagging as he scooped them up once more and spun them around in the air making their giggles louder with each spin...

"Afterwards, the lovers ran through the fields, enjoying their new life together, they lived with other humans and started a family, bringing the two world of humans and keminomini together,"

The story book reader sighed and closed the book, looking over at their children and smiling fondly.

"And that's why this story is so important, it teaches us how even through our differences we can learn to love and accept eachother,"

The two children looked up at their father curiously, tilting their heads to the side, one looked conflicted and the other was intrigued. The meif'wa boy stood up and walked over to his father, crawling up onto the couch beside him,

"It couldn't have been that easy"

"Well it wasn't, they had to go through a lot to get people to hear their voices,"

The wolf girl on the floor giggled and joined the two on the couch, looking over the pictures in the book and pointing to the meif'wa,

"Did they get married?"

A soft chuckle came from the kitchen and a reply followed,

"Of course, I have the rings to prove it hehe, c'mon you two, dinners almost ready,"

The two children hopped off the couch together, running to the kitchen and fighting along the way, making the werewolf laugh at his childrens antics. He approached the kitchen, seening his kids sit at the island table and his love preparing their dishes. He smiled and walked over planting a kiss on their cheek and wrapping an arm around them, making them both giggle.

"You don't always have to read my book to them you know?"

"You mean our book right? I helped with the writing too!"

"Heh, all you wanted was to make you all buff and strong, you could barely carry me through those woods,"

The two of them shared a laugh and plated their childrens food.

Gang I honestly forget what the request was and if their w ere any details I just knew meif'wa and werewolf
