Liz was in her room the whole weekend, ever since that night she made the most shocking discovery in her life, she just needed to process it.

In the past, if she made this discovery then she would only be interested in him because he was a superhero. Right now, she felt relief from why he made excuses and left, but she was also terrified. He attracted danger and worked hard to save lives and make New York a safe place.

Call her selfish, but she wished this discovery was a misunderstanding and that he wasn't busy protecting the city. There was a reason why no one knew the real identity of Spider-Man. She realized that he wasn't just saving people, but isolating himself to protect his loved ones. She was angry about finding out. One accidental slip up and Peter might break up with her.

No one must know, and more importantly, Peter cannot know that she knows. She picked up her phone to see a brand new message from her boyfriend. He sent her a picture of a cat playing with a xylophone. That was funny. Then she felt shocked when he texted her something.

P: Do you want to do some alone time sometime?

Liz felt like her head would erupt like a volcano. Was he asking her out?! She jumped out of bed and started pacing around smiling. Then she realized that she wasn't supposed to be near him. She sighed.

"Why is he being romantic now?!" She whined. Peter was being such a good boyfriend to her and she hated how complicated this situation was. Petey needed to be a superhero, and she didn't want to be a distraction. But to hell if she was going to pass up the romance.

L: Yes, I'd love to.

There was silence from his end. She thought of saying more.

L: Where and when?

P: It's by the coffee restaurant area.

Liz thought for a second. Was it going to be at the beach or Coney Island? Or was it the restaurant by Central Park?

L: Is it an area for dining or swimming?

P: I don't think we should go swimming in Winter.

Liz buried her head in her pillow, mumbling to herself about why she even asked such a stupid question. So it was a dining area.

P: Six in the evening.

L: Better not be a full-course meal.

P: Why not?

L: Then I'll be too full to taste you.

The silence was all she needed to know that Peter was probably blushing. It was cute every time she flirted and he was too flustered to speak properly. It was obvious that he wasn't used to having girls being romantically interested in him. It was flattering that she was his first girlfriend.

After a whole two hours of outfit picking and makeup, hairdos as well as showering, she was ready to go. She went out to the place where Peter said they should meet. She felt like she was being watched. Picking up the place she eventually made it with the direction Peter told her. Then she remembered the restaurant, this was where they had their very first tutor session!

"Surprise senorita!" He called from behind her. She squeaked, then turned to her boyfriend with a pout.

"You are very sneaky Petey".

"Part of my charm I guess", he smiled playfully. Liz didn't notice until now how much of a jokester he was, it seemed like he was trying to Spider-Man.

It's like I'm with Spider-Man than Petey. I know they're the same person but it feels like I am dating two people at the same time.

"C'mon, we'll sit over there", he pointed. Liz had the sense that they had sat at that table before.

"Petey, are we having another study session?" She asked as they walked to their table.

"No", he replied with a small laugh. "I chose this place just because it was the very first time we were having our first conversation".

"But I was awful to you here".

"That's another reason why I chose this place, as a chance to start fresh".

"Petey...", Liz said softly after the waiter took their order. She couldn't believe her new boyfriend was so thoughtful and romantic. It made her feel such guilt. After their waiter returned with their food, Liz stood up.

"What are you doing?" He asked. Then the Latina moved her chair next to his so she could be by his side. She leaned on him and placed her head on his shoulder.

"It's cold, I thought I could warm both of us", She grinned seductively. Peter just started blushing. Liz giggled a bit. "I also thought we could exchange our meals now and then".

"Hey, leave the romance to me", Peter laughed. Liz just slowly shook her head and made said 'ah-ah'.

Peter then scooped his slice of cake, lifting it to his girlfriend's lips. She opened her mouth and the piece went in.

She hummed at how delicious it was. "My turn". She used her fork to carry a piece of her blueberry pie. He took it and she could tell he enjoyed the way it tasted.

The rest of their date, Peter told a whole bunch of jokes and Liz would talk about her childhood with her family.

"Hold on, you can sing?!" Peter reacted.

"It's not that big of a deal, and besides, I was obsessed with being famous as a little girl".

"Is it still something you want to do?" Peter asked.

"I have started my own YouTube channel".

"As long as you are happy, I'll support you".

Liz and Peter gazed into each other's eyes. To Liz, it seemed like she was looking at a cinnamon roll, but also someone who would protect her at all costs. There was a spark in him. Leaning closer, their lips almost touching when out of nowhere a muscular half lion half man jumped right in front of them.

It was their first date and some lunatic that Spider-Man fights comes uninvited. Before, she would scream but now she was just very annoyed.

"¡Cómo te atreves a interrumpir nuestra primera cita, ahora Spider-Man te pateará el trasero!" She yelled angrily.

"Liz, you need to get out of here, now!"

She immediately remembered Peter's secret identity. There were too many people around, and there wasn't enough time for him to suit up. She had an idea.

"Oh thank God! Spider-Man is here!" She exclaimed with fake relief as she pointed at a building ahead. The cat man looked behind him, giving Liz the chance to run inside the café.
