Meanwhile God is telling me to forgive her
The past and all these emotions weighing down this heart
The devil keeps telling me to look into the rearview mirror
To be bitter
But I know it is time to forget her
God keeps saying quit being bitter
It is time to forgive her
That even when the devil says "Hey! Look into this rearview mirror!"
To Be bitter
We can forgive her
We only hurt ourselves by holding onto the rearview mirror
While God says "let go child. Let me bear the burden."
So, while the devil may say look into the rearview mirror
But we will forgive her
