Becky's P.O.V.
Fucked up. There was no other word for the situation right now. Of all the people in this world, it had to be Freen Sarocha in whose condo I find myself in after a drunk night. It was a total nightmare and the headache wasn't going away too.
"Oh! You're awake." she walked from somewhere, probable the kitchen.
Even through this headache, I couldn't help noticing the way she looked. The casual grey joggers and a loose tank top that revealed her collarbone and chest muscles. The way her arms looked lean and perfect and don't even get me started on the hair tied up casually into a bun with a few strands escaping, and her eyes-
*Wait- oh shit-* I've been staring. AND SHE KNOWS!
"Enjoying the view?" she said with her lips curving into a smirk.
"In your dreams Sarocha." I managed back a reply without fucking drooling over her.
"Oh you have no idea Rebecca..." she said deliberately drawing every word out.
Even though it has been years and even though I have successfully avoided her for a long time, here she is now. Making it impossible to look away. I maybe a fanged tigeress in the underworld but she is still the only one who can ever have a rein on me. If only she would have listened all those years ago, I'm sure she would have understood.
"Hello? Earth to Rebecca?" her voice brings me back.
"Y-Yeah?"
"I said take a shower while I get breakfast ready."
Is this really happening? Freen Sarocha Chankimha? Making breakfast for me? I cannot point it out but I can feel the shift here. A shift in her tone, in the way she's looking at me with a little less hatred. I can only wonder what happened last night for such a shift but right now a shower seems good.
..............................
The shower was awesome and really helped the headache. I came out to the sweet smell of pancakes filling the place. My eyes land on the yellow blanket once again. Perhaps Sarocha isn't that changed after all. I can only hope. I go to the dining table and see banana slices and blueberries on the table, maple syrup and a jug of juice. From the table I can see her moving around flicking the pancakes while I pour myself some juice.
After a while she turns around and comes with two plates of sizzling hot pancakes on them.
We both settle beside each other. It feels natural somehow.
"Eat. They'll get cold" she says before pouring honey and fruits on hers'.
Before I can stop myself, a chuckle escapes as I help myself to the food.
"What's so funny?" she asks as I take a bite.
*Damn....I missed these so much*
Slowly, I say after finishing my bite, "Nothing just...some things never change I guess."
She rolled her eyes. Just the tiniest bit but I caught it.
"Did you just roll your eyes at me?" now it's my turn to smirk at her.
Freen's P.O.V.
She's enjoying the breakfast. I saw it when she took the first bite into her mouth. It took me a moment to decide what to make, considering her choices might have changed over the time. Why was I even fussing over what she'd like was a theory I myself had no clue about.
She looks soo calm and at ease while eating. Otherwise she's always so tense. Even at work or wherever she goes. She's been so tense I've noticed ever since we started working together. This....this looks like the Becky I fell in -
