After hearing Sigma's response, Nikolai answered in pure silence, his face darkening. Of course that idiot won't take Sigma seriously. After all, he has been hiding his emotions ever since the day he met him. He is so good at lying to the point it makes Sigma feel slightly infuriated.

"Visiting hours are over," A guard called out for Sigma, interrupting the conversation. "Please leave immediately."

Sigma sighed as he turned to the guard, apologizing for taking up too much time to visit his oh so dear friend. Nikolai waved goodbye to him, but Sigma had been this frustrated and left without a word.

Nikolai is a hard nut to crack—only if he had gotten more information out of him... Does Sigma have to force the truth out of him, so that they won't have to deal with more incidents?

It was already midnight by the time Sigma had arrived home, and he miserably laid himself down on the couch with an exhausted expression on his face. Sigma had speculated he won't be able to get Nikolai out before this week (before Fyodor ever does.)

"You fool," He grumbled while he closed his eyes in thought. "Why do you think this is so silly to me...?"

Due to stress, Sigma slept peacefully on the couch till morning. Surprisingly, someone had covered him with a warm blanket. How strange. Did somebody break in? But Sigma quickly put the blanket away on the couch, getting up as he goes to the bathroom.

He looked at himself in the mirror. Messy hair was a daily occurrence—sleepy eyes were usual and all. Sigma slightly groaned at the uncomfortable magician outfit he wore until now—was he that tired? He couldn't imagine it. A simple morning. Yet it felt so strange...

...Where is the annoying boy he shouted at and complained daily? Where is the guy who was pretty much enthusiastic than anybody else in the morning? Realizing this, Sigma felt a tinge of loneliness inside him.

Forget the magic shows, people don't know their schedule or when Nikolai will appear anyway. In fact, he got ready in a comfortable outfit just to visit Nikolai. Sigma swiftly ran through the plaza, entering the same building as yesterday.

Of course; his gaze set on the familiar white haired boy from afar once he had entered. Sigma nervously walked to his cell. Holding the bars, he looked down at him. It appears Nikolai had just woken up.

A small smile curled on Sigma's lips when Nikolai turned to his face.

"...Mm? Oh, Sigma!" Nikolai quickly recognized the boy in front of him, with a surprised expression. "So I see what you've brought for me."

Sigma responded, trying not to sound satisfied, his eyebrows raising. "Breakfast, and nothing more. I just wanted to share the spare sandwiches I made." That was a lie. He made it as a gift—it was no spare.

Through the small gaps, Sigma reached out for his hand as he grabbed the sandwich from the bag he held. He waited for Nikolai to finish it, crouching. He appreciated whoever his future savior would be so much—but Sigma is the type to not show his gratitude easily to a person like Nikolai.

"It's... great," Nikolai said with food in his mouth, his eyes sparkling. A day without Sigma's cooking feels different—he feels great knowing this warm homemade feeling comes back. He isn't picky anyway of what Sigma makes, even if he was, he wouldn't show it to him.

"When will you get out of here?"

"Did you miss me that much to ask such a question like this~?" He teased Sigma, this was his usual nature. "Well, just a few days left. After this, we will finally go to school as Fedya said!" Oh, right... Fyodor. He hasn't returned to visit Nikolai, did he?
