The teen's times were lengthening. Everyday, the pair sat together, occasionally earning a customer or two. Each day they spent time together Everett and Rose began closer. She began talking about her life, and he would talk lightly about himself as well. His admiration grew for her; her life was more complicated then he thought. Her admiration grew for him; he was so strong for such a frail looking boy.
"So what your telling me is your parents left you -completely disappeared- and now you have to pay off their debt? That really sucks."
"It does. But it's not as bad as having an abusive father and a drunk for a mom. At least I have a functioning guardian."
"I guess you're right."
"Yea."
"So what are you doing later, Everett?"
"Im going to see a movie with my girlfriend. Shes really sweet."
"I didn't think you had a girlfriend with your sour attitude."
"Oh ha ha. I get it, I'm not that desirable."
"Actually, minus the fact your extremely rude at times, you're really nice."
"..."
"..."
"It's really weird."
"What?"
"Every day you come here your hair turns even blonder!"
"..."
"It's just my imagination, right?"
"...Right..."
"..."
"So you still aren't going to change it?"
"Please, I beg you, don't go back to this."
"It bothers me to see this every day. That poster could be so pretty with it too!"
"Rose, I want to stay on happy terms with you. Dont make me get angry."
"Or what?"
"Or I'll hurt you."
"..."
"I- I didn't mean it like that! Rose, don't go! I was joking!"
