CHAPTER 2.

As you both drank tea sitting at the table Kuni noticed you looking at him first with very open eyes and he just then realized that he took your hood off before and he jumped a bit.

But what was she looking at?

Her expression changed a glare Piercing right through him and he sighed

"What is it.."

"Since you seem to be fine looking at my face I'm assuming you should know. Why the duck is my hood off?"

"Duck?"

"I was raised in a household that if you swore you would get scolded or battered"

Even though you swore multiple times without realizing it.

"Sad"

"Shut up and get to the point"

"The wonderful forces of gravity"

She put her cup down and listened to him still glaring at him intently

"When you fainted I picked you up and your hood fell down not my fault"

He scoffed turning his head the other way and taking another sip of his tea hoping you would cease glaring at him

At least he could finally see you..

And he couldn't help but think to himself of how pretty you were so while you both finished your tea he took in each one of your features

And then snapped out of it crawling to a corner and sitting there

(Y/N) tilted her head with a blank expression shrugged and took the tray to the kitchen

Then you went to get some things a dagger and a pouch of Mora.

After you did that you went to the door and stepped out where Kuni saw and followed close behind you.

"Where are u going.?"

"I'm going to Ritou"

"But wh-"

"I'm getting more food were running out"

"Well thanks so much for interrupting me and I also just got lavender melon"

You just walked off still it was pointless to argue with him.

"Is this your way of saying you're mad? Not my fault Newton discovered gravity"

You sighed before looking him in the face.

"If you wanna come fine but stop pestering me"

"You're one to talk"

He got his kasa hat gently placing it on his head as you went through the door Ritou wasn't super far from where you were just past a village

And so you both set off.

Kuni POV:

We arrived in Ritou but I just kept looking at her and I couldn't comprehend why I had some kind of sadness

Was I upset that she was mad at me?

But I snapped out again.

"I really gotta stop thinking like this..."

I face palmed myself and then we came by the village she was talking about and she said she had to go visit someone

As I took in my surroundings I remembered this is where I saw that doctor looking man

Where did he go anyway?

I couldn't be bothered to figure out I just waited for (N/N) to come back and I needed her to come back anyway

Because..

I don't know why I just do.

I also felt something watching me.

Or more than one person looking at me from afar but I had a feeling I know who it was so I just acted clueless.

This is taking too long.

When's (N/N) gonna be back I wanna go home..

It's not even my house anyway what am I on about!?

And I hit myself on the head again.

I really gotta get these thoughts out of my head they're gonna make me go crazy

And I heard footsteps coming towards me..

One.

Two.

Three.

And I felt a tap on my shoulder

"Kuni you doing alright?"

It was just her.

But it didn't feel like her gaze?

Whatever

"Kuni?"

"Yeah I'm here come on let's go but what took so long honestly!?"

"Uh let's say I had a little checkup..."
