Chapter 18: sound Ninja

Lana POV

As Lee fell my eyes widen, then one of the guys went to attack Sakura, but Lee blocked them again. Then one of the guys used a sound jutsu and Lee passed out.

I jumped in front of Sakura and kicked the guy away and Sakura threw shuriken at him, but a guy blew them back with two holes in the palms of his hand.

Then Sakura threw some kunai and it got blown away again and it turned back and almost hit me "Sakura watch it." I told her, then I heard Sakura yell.

"My my what soft and shiny hair, but you know what if you spent a little less time shampooing then you wouldn't be in this mess."

The girl said I covered me ears "Man your voice is more annoying then Sakura's why don't you shut up." I said she glared at me. Then one of the guys started running at Sasuke, I ran behind him and put a kunai at his neck.

"Go near him and you die."

I said then the guy with the palm thing got behind me and blasted my ears, I let out a shrilling scream.

"Hahaha you thought you could beat us, look at you yelling it pathetic." He said and started kicking me and punching me. My body was paralyzed, I couldn't move.

Then I saw Sakura take out her Kunai, and cut her hair. After that she the girl tried to kill Sakura, but she made a substitution jutsu and ran at the guy hitting me with kunai and threw it at him. He jumped back and blasted them away then Sakura did another substitution jutsu. The guy was looking around for Sakura, and she came from above. The guy smirked and and took out some kunai and blasted it at Sakura but she didn't do a substitution jutsu. Sakura then fell on top of the guy stabbing him and biting his arm.

Then the guy started punching her. As I watch the seen unfold, the sound ninja guy finally got Sakura off of her and pointed his palms at her, but before anything could happen Shika and his team jumped in front of them.

I couldn't help but smile, but that smile soon faded when the other guy ran at me and threw multiple kunai and shuriken at me pinning me down.

'Not good, with all the blood I'm loosing I might die, and it doesn't help that I can't move. I can't summon Leo, do magic, or jutsu.'

But then the ground started to shake and I saw Choji in his ball thing. That only meant on thing someone called him fat, the only problem was that he was heading towards me. The other sound ninja moved, but I was left on the ground until Shika picked me up and brought me to the side.

Then Shika did the shadow thing to he mummy, and Ino took over the girls mind. Then the palm guy moved Choji to the girl and made her hit the tree and Ino got hurt. Everyone was just talking while I couldn't hear shit, I could only see mouths moving. The only good thing was I could move a little now.

"Music dragon: peaceful melody."

I said, but I only focused it to my ears.

"No more plying around Tenten."

I heard a voice, I looked up to see Neji "N-Neji..." I said barely above a whisper, he glanced at me then looked at the sound ninja. Neji looked mad, but not like his usual mad look it was the imma gonna kill you mad look. Then his glare stopped, and the mummy guy laughed.

"Haha what's gotten into you."

Neji smirked "Well this has just been taken off my hands."

Then I felt it too, that chakura "Sasuke..." I looked over at him, that wasn't Sasuke...he had marks on his left side on his body. Everyone was shocked they couldn't move, no it wasn't shock that was definitely not the expression of everyone. It was fear, that pressure of amazing power, the overwhelming pressure of his chakura. That wasn't Sasuke. Sasuke looked at me, all covered up in blood I should be ashamed to be seen like this.

"Lana...who did this to you."

I didn't say anything I couldn't say anything, then Sakura looked at Sasuke "Sasuke what's happen to you?" She asked I looked at him, this was the only time that I feared Sasuke...

"Don't worry I'm alright it's only the power flowing through me. In fact I've never felt better, he gave me this gift, and he made me understand who I am. I'm an avenger to follow my path I must have power at any price even if it means being consumed by evil."

That's not Sasuke, that's not the person I know and love...that's something else he would never say that...would he?

"Lana I'm not gonna ask again who did this to you?."

Then the sound ninja guy smirked "That would be me." He said, Sasuke turned to face him. The marks on his body moved all around him, it was all over his face, purple chakura surrounding him. Then the palm guy put his hands out, and made a really big blast in front of Sasuke, and everything was white.

In the after math the palm guy laughed "Hehe look at that it blew him away." But Sasuke was right next to him and punched him making him fly to the mummy man, then he made hand signs "Fire style: Phoenix flower Jutsu." Palm guy took out the flams, but there were shuriken in them, and cut him up. While he was covering his face Sasuke in a blink of an eye was behind him and stepped on his back pulling his arms. When Sasuke got his arms he was smirking "You must be really proud of these arms of yours. You must be very attached to them." Sasuke said pulling harder and harder then he broke them. Palm guy fell to the floor yelling in agony, then Sasuke turned with that menacing smile "Looks like your the only one felt. Let's see if you'll make things more interesting." He said walking over to him.

As this rate something took over my body, all the energy I had left. I got up and ran to Sasuke getting in front of him "Stop Sasuke." I said softly still in my broken voice, Sasyke had a dull look.

"Lana move."

"No."

"Lana I'm not going to tell you again-." Then I hugged him and cried "Please, Sasuke...this isn't you, this isn't the person I know and love. Stop please I can't let you continue with this madness." I cried, he gave me a cold glare but all of his marks on his body started to go away. Then he fell back, Sakura ran over to us.

"Your strong Sasuke I'll give you this if you let us go."

Mummy man said and put down an Eath scroll, but then mummy man picked up his teammates and started walking away.

I was just standing there "Sasuke...." I said then fell back and passed out.
