Letting out a groan of discomfort, Owen was very confused when he awakened. Feeling the sting of pain coming from his skull, Owen went to reach at it, only then realizing his hands were tided behind his back. Finally, registering his location, Owen began to slightly panic; however, now was not the time for that. As he observed his surroundings, Owen figured this was Jose's basement. He vaguely remembered them talking before she attacked him.
"I don't get why she'd do this," he said, getting lost deep in thought.
Owen was in disbelieve at his current situation, trying to figure out where he'd gone wrong with Jose. He ran through the many interactions he's had with her, but nothing seemed to make sense of her actions. Putting that thought to the side for a brief moment, Owen was stuck in bindings that held him securely to the wall.
The basement was dark and cold, with the only source of light coming from a small window.
"I have to find a way to get out of here-" Owen paused, as he heard the basement door open.
With his placement cutting off his view, Owen could only wait in anticipation as he heard Jose make her way down the creaky staircase.
Humming in delight, Jose takes her last step and comes closer to where Owen was sitting.
"Well, well. Look who's finally awake. I thought it would take you a little longer. I'm sorry it had to come down to this," Jose said with a small guilty smile on her face.
Owen could see something else in her face but decided to remain silent.
