THE FATES OF THE TWO TORTURED SOULS BEGAN TO UNFOLD high above the towering empire state building, Manhattan, New York.

Within the white cotton clouds that caress the azureous blue sky, lay mount olympus, abode of the divine and celestial.

The summer solstice of 1918 had rolled around. the world was under siege and mutiny of the great war. Chaos wreaked havoc across all corners of the world.

But there was the most attractive of the Olympian gods, bow slung on his back, tanned skin gleaming in the everlasting light that illuminated the heavenly home of the gods.

The Sun god, Apollo, had an important message to bestow upon his fellow olympians.

Apollo was the second to last to take his seat at the convention of the Olympians as he had just returned from the cave at Delphi. His newly received information hung over his head, making him unexpectedly optimistic about the affair.

Apollo knew the prophetic message would need to be heard by a number of the gods.

Firstly, the goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite. Such a prediction including the entwinement of two souls concerned her realm of love.

Also, the god of the forge and fire needed to hear.

But most importantly, Apollo intended for the god of the dead, king of the underworld to hear.

Apollo figured there was no better time to share such wisdom with the three gods other than the winter solstice.

Apollo knew the divination would cause a stir among his family, but that was not of his concern. the prognosis did not concern him nor his realm. He decided to lay the affliction upon Aphrodite, Hephaestus, and Hades. After all, the prophecy was of their realms and influence.

Zeus' commanding presence took his seat upon his throne, signifying the commencement of the divine conference.

A strenuous line of insipid topics were discussed upon the gods. debating which cities to torch (Apollo did enjoy that topic), current heroes, the great war which was currently conspiring.

Ares, Athena, and Zeus seemed to be the only ones taking interest in the war discussion. Athena and Ares argued over strategies and skirmishes. Zeus reveled in the fact that discord only amplified his power over the mortal world.

As much as Apollo enjoyed wreaking havoc over europe, he had much more crucial and engaging knowledge to confer.

Zeus was ready to call the godly conference to a close, but before he could finish his commencement speech, the Sun god stood, arms outstretched like an angel.
