A FEW weeks had passed since the girl started her job at Blue Lock. While it was a little hectic to deal with both school and work, it wasn't that bad. Besides, she absolutely loved her job. Except for that parasite that she seemed to bump in ever so often.
A thing that had significantly changed though was her "relationship" with Barou. At first he refused to even look her way, maintaining that same, prideful attitude he showed everyone to try and keep her away. Unfortunately for him, that didn't really work since Y/N was set on befriending the player.
Slowly but surely the tough exterior became softer. While others may not have noticed it, she could tell from his small gestures that he atleast tolerated the girl. From greeting her when she walks in to sitting down next to her when he took a break, those were all things he hadn't done before. And to be honest, she felt happy knowing that he was putting in even the slighest of effort.
Today the girl didn't have to go to the facility. Instead, she was busy helping around her school with planning an upcoming festivity. The summer festival was held each year in celebration of finishing another year of school. It was a big thing, usually attended by schools all around their city, so it was important for everything to turn out perfect.
