As the night progresses, Michelle and Aiden are now at the police station, desperately trying to contact Steven and Elena, but all they hear is silence. Ryan suggests they go to their house to gather more information and keep him informed. However, their intentions are disrupted when Ryan gets a distressing radio call about a dead man at The Los Angeles Fair. Ryan expresses his confusion about the strange events of the night, leaving everyone shocked. In the midst of the chaos, Dan brings up the issue of Elena's location, further increasing the tension.
Dan, Julie, Aiden, & Gale promptly make their way to Los Angeles General Hospital, wasting no time. A group of doctors promptly attends to Evan and Michael, skillfully tending to their stab wounds and offering the required assistance. After successfully completing their tasks, Michael and Evan peacefully fall into a deep slumber. Aiden and Gale attempted to contact Elena, only to be disappointed when she didn't answer their calls. Frustrated, they decided to step outside for a moment. To their astonishment, they stumbled upon Elena's phone abandoned on the ground. This unexpected discovery prompted them to exchange a glance before Gale proposed going to the police station. Aiden, feeling perplexed, questioned whether they should inform Dan and Julie, but Gale pointed out that they were already dealing with Evan and it was too overwhelming. Despite his uncertainty, Aiden followed Gale as they swiftly made their way to the police station.
At the hospital, Julie discovers herself in Evan and Michael's room, where they are peacefully sleeping. Unexpectedly, Dan enters and provides her with comfort and support. He reassures her that everything will be fine, and she finds solace in his embrace. Shortly after, Michael's parents & sister, Sally, Dipper, and Ella, arrive and express their gratitude to Dan and Julie for taking care of their son. As Steven, Michelle, Celeste, Carter, & Mindy. join them, they inquire about Evan and Michael's well-being. With confidence, Dan assures them that both boys are resilient and will recover smoothly, without any complications.
At the Los Angeles Fair, the area was cordoned off and secured by law enforcement officials. Ryan seemed visibly anxious, leading deputy John to ask about his well-being. Ryan then shares his wish for tonight to be a memorable evening. John assures Ryan that this situation will be resolved soon.
[MAY 26, SUNDAY] The next day at Los Angeles General Hospital, Dan and Julie are peacefully sleeping next to Sally and Dipper. Suddenly, Evan wakes up and looks over at Michael. He quietly calls out his name, causing him to open his eyes. They exchange a fist bump, share a laugh, and have a heartfelt conversation. Evan suggests that they stick together since they have similar wounds, and Michael agrees.
At Elena's house, the group discusses the identity of the killer and the reason for the delay in the final act. Aiden proposes a theory that the killer may have a different plan in mind. He suggests that if a major event happens without the killer being revealed, it is typical for the killer to show themselves when least expected. Michelle reveals that UOSC students were the ones attacked and killed at the fair. This revelation surprises the group, prompting Steven to suggest that it was a deliberate ploy to lure them out of the house, where the killer was waiting to attack. During the conversation, Celeste expresses concern about Elena's safety and whereabouts. Aiden then reveals that him and Gale found Elena's phone outside in front of the hospital. Ryan recommends visiting the hospital to review security camera footage for a better understanding of the situation. After hearing everyone's thoughts, they all agree to Ryan's proposal.
In the hospital, the police team, along with the group of friends, has entered the security room to review the surveillance footage from the previous night's incident. While examining the footage, they observe Elena stepping outside while on the phone. Suddenly, a van pulls up, and two individuals dressed as ghostface killers grab her and throw her into the vehicle before speeding off. Ryan is shocked by the boldness of the attackers. Gale pauses the footage to jot down the license plate number. She quickly looks up the plate number on a website, which provides them with crucial information about the vehicle's background and location. After analyzing the information, they decide to head to the specific location.
