Chaeryeong POV
Chaeyeon Unnie's taking me to go to Jinnie's house for a play date. It's the 3rd time since school ended! I really hope we're in the same class next year. It was super fun, and she's the first friend I have!

Chaeyeon Unnie drops me off and then skippes away, probably to Kkura Unnie's house or something. I knock on Jinnie's door, and her mom lets me in. I run all the way up to Jinnies room.

"Jinnie!!" I say, swinging open the door. She hops off the bed and runs to me, hugging me, and then we sit down on her bed.

"You know, this time last year was when we met!" She tells me.

"Really?"

"Yeah. I heard my mom talking about it with my dad. It's called an 'anniversary'"

"That means it's our anniversary, Jinnie!"

"Sorry I didn't get you anything."

"It's okay, I didn't either."

"We should do something for it!" I exclaim.

"Like what?"

"Hmmm... I heard my sister talking about how at the beginning of the school year her teacher made them write to themselves and open it at the end. What if we do that?"

"Write to ourselves?"

"Yeah, our future selves. Like, say how excited we are to hopefully be in the same class together again next year, or talk about how much fun it is to meet so much this summer. So when we're all old and stuff, we can read it and be like 'wOw, We WeRe SoOoOoO cLoSe BaCk ThEn ToO.'"

Jinnie giggles at me and then agrees. "Okay! We can do that!"

So all afternoon, we spend writing and writing since neither of us can spell most things right now. We ask Jinnies mom for lots of help, and then we're finally done by the time Chaeyeon comes to pick me up.

"Bye-bye Jinnie! See you!" I shout after me as I leave.

Dear Jinnie and Chaery 20-7-08

Hi older us!!! It's us, Jinnie and Chaery. We just finished our first year in school together and todays our aniversery. I hope next scool year were together again. It's fun to hang out so much over summer. I hope were always this close, or closer!

Okay It's still really short, but trust the process. After the first couple chapters where it's just them doing the anniversary stuff, it'll get better I promise.
