You blinked a few times.
"What did you say?"
He smiled slightly. "I'm pretty sure you understood me."
"Cheol..."
"What happened?" He tried to sit up, but stopped out of pain. "Argh."
You pushed him down softly. "Don't sit up. You lost lots of blood and have an head injury. Let me call the doctor."
You pressed the button for the doctor to come. After a few seconds, the doctor came in, following Seungcheols parents. You took a step back, leaving enough space for the doctor to check up on him. The doctor did some tests with Seungcheol, telling us all what to do next and what is about to happen. After the doctor was done, his parents surrounded him. You let them have time by their own, leaving the room. Outside, you breathed deep in and out a few times, trying to keep everything together and resume what happened.

"Y/n, everything okay?"
You looked to your left, seeing Joshua coming. You smiled at him, nodding.
"He is awake."
His eyes widened. "What? When did he wake up? Is he okay? Does he remember what happened?"
"Just a few minutes ago. His parents are in right now. The doctor said he has to rest and sleep much, so his wounds can heal faster. He knows that he was at the party and went out to get some fresh air. He didn't mentioned..." You went silent, looking at the ground.
"Okay, I see. But that's good, means he doesn't have memory loss."
You nodded slightly. "Yeah."
Joshua placed his hand on your shoulder. "Y/n, look at me."
You looked up, straight looking in his face.
"He is fine, y/n. It's not your fault, okay?"
You smiled. "Okay."
He patted your head. "And now go and change into something fresh. You're a bit overdressed for a hospital."
You laughed. "You think?"
He smiled at you. "I'll tell Seungcheol that you will be back soon, okay?"
You nodded. "Thank you, Joshua."
"I'm always here for my best friends."

You took a taxi and went home. You took a shower and got into some relaxing clothes. Heading downstairs, your mom called.
"Hey my love, how was yesterday?"
You went into the kitchen, looking for something fast to eat. "Hey mom, it was... nice."
"Nice? That's all you've got to say?"
You found a banana. "Yeah, nothing much happened." You lied.
"Y/n, I know you. And I know you're lying. What happened?"
You sighed. "Why do you know me so well?"
Your mom laughed. "Because you're my daughter."
You hesitated. "Seungcheol and I kissed last night. Or more did he kissed me. I was too shocked to do something."
"And? How is the situation between you two?"
"I didn't know what to say. He ran away and got hit by a car. He is in the hospital now."
"What?! Y/n, tell me you're joking."
You tear up by the thought of Seungcheol lying in his hospital bed. "I'm not."
"Oh y/n..."
Tears were falling down your cheeks. "It is my fault, mom. He wouldn't be there if I just did something."
"Y/n, it's not your fault. And I'm pretty sure he knows it too. Is he awake? Is he okay?"

You told her about his situation and condition. She tried to cheer you up by telling you, that it wasn't your fault, that he would never blame you for that.
"He doesn't have memory loss?"
"Seems like it."
"Then he remembers the kiss?"
You sighed, shrugging your shoulders. "I don't know. Mom, you think it's a good idea to fall in love with your best friend?"
"Listen y/n, being together with a person you love is something magical and something that should happen only once in your life. You spent so much time together. The best thing to happen is to fall in love with the person, you genuinely love and care about, who knows how the other one thinks, feels. I think it's the best thing that to happen."
You nodded, even though your mom couldn't see you. "Thank you, mom"
"Nothing to thank me for. I'll be back tomorrow. Love you."
"Love you too, mom."
You hang up, looking at your phone. You have a message from Joshua on. He says Seungcheol is asking for you, that he wants to see you. You took your belongings and took a taxi back to the hospital.

You knocked on Seungcheols room, waiting for him to call you in. But you couldn't hear anything. Out of fear, something happened, you went in. He wasn't in his bed, his bedsheets moved to the side. Fear overcame you. You looked around, but he was nowhere to find.
"Seungcheol?" You shouted into the room.
A door next to the bed opened, Seungcheol coming out. You looked at him, sighing.
"Jesus, Cheol. I was worried something has happened!"
You went to him, helping him stand on his own.
He looked into your direction. "You're here."
"Yeah, Joshua texted me. What are you doing?"
"I just had to pee."
You laughed. "And you have to go alone? After a car just hit you and you underwent surgery?"
"C'mon, I'm not a 90 year old man. I can go to the toilet alone."
You sighed, helping him go to his bed. He sat down slowly, lying down on the mattress. You were sitting next to him on a chair.
"Did I miss something while I was gone?"
He shook his head slightly, pinching his eyes close out of pain. "Argh."
"See, that comes for doing everything alone."
He smiled slightly. "You worry about me."

"Dumbass, of course I worry about you. What were you thinking?"
"That you worry about me and love me."
You turned red. "Cheol..."
"It's okay. Let's talk about it once I'm home."
You breathed in deeply. "Okay."
He searched for your hand, linking his hand with yours. "I hope you know that I don't blame you for anything that happened, y/n. This isn't your fault."
You looked at your linked hands. "I heard that a few times now."
"And it's the truth. It's not your fault. I shouldn't have kissed you out of nowhere."
You sighed. "Let's just forget what happened."
He nodded slightly. "Except the fact that you love me."
You laughed. "Idiot."
He smiled.

Seungcheol had to stay in the hospital for about two weeks. Joshua, Seungkwan and you visited him everyday, trying to stay as long as possible. The moment he got home, he texted you asking you to come over to talk. You tried to avoid the topic for the last two weeks, but it was about time talking about it.
You went to his house, his mom was opening the door for you, smiling. "Hello, y/n."
You smiled at her. "Hello, Mrs. Choi."
"Come in. He is in his room."
You got in, taking your shoes off. "Thank you."
You were about to go upstairs, when his mom hold you up on your wrist. You looked at her.
"Follow your heart, y/n."
She smiled at you. You just blinked a fee times, not knowing what to say. She let you go, going away. You took a deep breath before going upstairs to Seungcheols room. You knocked on his door.
"Come in."
You opened the door, going in. Seungcheol was sitting on a chair in front of his big window. It looks like he is staring out the window, up in the sky. You could think he is just admiring the colors of the world. But he just stares outside with the hope to see something in his darkness.
"Hey, Cheol." You sat down on the chair beside him.

He turned towards you, smiling. "Hey, y/n."
You looked outside the window. The sun is about to set which makes the sky look like a color palette made out of so many different kinds of oranges and reds.
"You know why I love sitting here?" He asked.
"Because you feel like seeing the world. You feel it."
He nodded slightly. "Yeah. Do you know why I love you,
y/n?"
You look at him. He was staring outside the window now.
"Why?" You whisper.
"Because you are the only person who knows these things about me and don't think about it like something stupid. You don't think I am stupid."
"I don't think it, I know it."
He smiled. "I know. The moment I realized that was the moment I fell in love with you."
You swallowed, tearing up.

"I love you, y/n. So damn much. I feel save around you, I feel understood, I feel peace, I feel like my home is always by my side whenever I spend my time with you."
A tear rolled down your face.
"I was afraid to tell you because I didn't wanted to ruin our friendship. And at the party, it just felt so right kissing you. I don't want to force you to anything. If you tell me you don't want this, I will stop. I will never talk about it ever again and forget about what happened. But if you tell me, that you want this, this between us, I would probably become the happiest blind man on this planet."

You cried, didn't know what to say.
"Y/n?"
You took a deep breath in. "And I dumbass tried to be happy for Min Jae and tried not to think about killing her." You said, trying to laugh.
He laughed out loud. "Yeah, that wasn't my smartest move, to be honest."
You smiled slightly, wiping the years away. "What about college?"
"My parents said that they won't let me leave by my own. So I'm taking the first two semesters online."
"Means yours staying here in Seoul?"
He nodded. "Yeah."
You nodded too. "Don't you think Joshua and Seungkwan-"
"Y/n for gods sake, just tell me how you feel about this and stop talking about what others could think."
You looked at him, taking a deep breath. "I love you, Choi Seungcheol."
He smiled.

"Y/n?"
"Yes, Cheol?"
"Can you describe it to me?"
"What?"
"The sky."
You smiled at him, tears still falling down your cheeks.
"There's nothing I would rather do."
